The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
He's been a writer for Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Voyager, he also wrote the pilot for The Amazing Screw-On Head, as well as being a producer for all these shows. But his gems as creator, writer and producer are these three:
and
This is the place to talk about how fucking awesome those three shows are, and how great the Amazing Screw-On Head pilot is, or I guess Star Trek stuff, whatever
I'm still slightly bitter about Amazing Screw-On Head not getting picked up and Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies ending so prematurely
at lostwords: should I watch it? I'd rather be like "Dead Like Me is awesome, but I didn't see the movie" and not have to go "Dead Like Me is awesome but the movie ruined it"

ehh, the movie doesn't ruin the series. it was just unnecessary and kinda ignored a lot of things they established in the series. plus, no more mandy patankin. it is good to reconnect with the characters though, especially mason. also, they replaced the actress who played daisy, which is awful
also, the dvds for the middleman came out last week. it was such a great show, sucks that it didn't get renewed for another season. more people needed to watch it.
but really, i'm surprised how good a few of the shows on abcfamily have been lately. sad that they cancelled middleman and kyle xy, but no other network was gonna touch it, so whatevs. plus make it or break it and 10 things i hate about you are grrrreat. its my new wb network circa like 8 years ago or so
I decided not to watch dead like me when I read that the main character got killed by a space toilet meteor
What? That's the whole reason I got into it in the first place!
So anyone know exactly what episode was Bryan Fuller's last on DLM? When did he actually leave due to creative differences? I didn't notice any weird falling off so I can't tell.
Also, Wonderfalls was Wonderful. I wish I had a little more.
And Pushing Daisies is a masterpiece of cinema even though it's not in a cinema. It's that good.
What episodes of DS9 and Voyager did he do?
When will we get another Fuller show to love for a season before it is ripped from us again? (Seriously, the guy should just plan shows out in single season form with endings at the end of a season. He did that with Wonderfalls just in case. But sadly did not plan ahead with Pushing Daisies. And DLM's Halloween episode (I know, not Fuller) just was not an ending. Neither was the movie.
By now Fuller should feel like Joss Wheedon except Joss has had more successful show time.
And I don't watch Heroes and don't plan to after hearing how horrible it is getting. Not even if the first season is created by God herself.

it's a pretty good show though
I dunno, I don't really feel comfortable using the "trying too hard to be clever" complaint, but man, really, space toilet meteor is the best death he could come up with? It bugs me, and I don't really have Showtime or HBO, whichever station it was on, anyway.

Yeah, don't. The first season is somewhat interesting television, but it's still a poorly written network drama. I watched it through a second time while my roommate was watching it for the first, and I can't figure out why I liked it at all when it was airing. There's so many plot holes, and way too much bad dialogue. And the second and third seasons are just terrible.
The first season of heroes had some neat moments and one really good episode, but they basically went down a list and checked off comic book cliches despite the guy in charge "never reading comics before I swear." It didn't help that a good 80% of the main cast is awful at acting.

it's over the top, yeah, but that's not really the kind of humor the show relies on
there's something about it though that keeps it from being great. I'm not sure if it was the actors or the writing or just the quirkiness, but it falls flat a lot. It's still good, but with higher production value, and a little tighter writing, it could've been a great show that probably wouldn't have been canceled. Wonderfalls suffers from the same thing, I think.

I'm right there with you pal
voyager was pretty suck
but DS9 was metal
we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other
all of Dead Like Me is on Hulu
you should watch it
rent Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies, they're both on DVD
voyager was shit
and really I don't give a shit about this other stuff
why am I here? boredom.
Wish it had lasted longer.
PS4:MrZoompants
but I can just watch the simpsons instead
Well, I guess it depends which Simpsons you're talking about. The good one, which ended about 5-6 years ago, or any season or episode since.
I missed basically all of that show when it was on the air
And the direct-to-DVD movie they released has 100% less Mandy Patinkin
It's amazing on DVD, though. I should watch it again.

not until they replace the voice cast
I should finished watching the latter; Mori doesn't like to watch it too often
My mother's reaction to Pushing Daisies was hilarious (too morbid for her liking) but my dad and little brother and sister got into it
also the complete series and the movie are on netflix instant queue
Also Lee Pace is like, the perfect man
at lostwords: should I watch it? I'd rather be like "Dead Like Me is awesome, but I didn't see the movie" and not have to go "Dead Like Me is awesome but the movie ruined it"
now I want to set up a ASH av/sig theme

Pushing...Daisies...too morbid?
Man, what?
Sure it deals with death, but he's avenging these deaths and it's all cheery and colorful!
