Playing GC on Wii Troubles

So I'm trying to play some MMX Collection on my Wii and for whatever reason whenever I select one of the games my TV tells me it does not support the mode it is in.

Wii is connected with HD component cables, TV is a Westinghouse.

Not sure what else is needed... thanks.

do you have your wii set to display in 16:9 480p?

Try just having it do 480i full screen (in the settings menu) and try playing it again
