Ok so I just switched to Opera and I have to admit I like it quite a bit.
Except for one thing, when I download a torrent it opens it up into BitTorrent, which I guess is a neat feature since its actually part of the browser, but I use uTorrent. I like it a lot better. When I was in Firefox if I downloaded a torrent I had it set up so that it would open up in uTorrent and start. How do I get Opera to do the same thing?
Are you using the 10 beta? Or an earlier stable version? In versions prior to 10, go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced Tab > Downloads. Uncheck "Hide file types opened with Opera, and type "torrent" into the Quick Find drop box. Choose edit, and you can tell Opera how you want it to handle torrent files.
You get to the settings the same way with 10, but I haven't gotten it to do anything but pop open a dialogue box prior to opening the torrent file. It still wants to open with Opera, but gives me the option to switch to utorrent first. It's quite annoying, and the only real issue I've had with 10 so far.
