More to the point, why is he pointing his gun at me?
It's a widely-recognised storytelling trope that when a robot points his gun at the reader, he's breaking the fourth-wall and attempting to kill you just for reading the story.
Jesus Christ, Szech.
My only nitpick, and maybe it's just the continuity geek in me, is that Carl is reaching into his jacket with his left hand in the next to last frame, but then is holding it in his right with the left steadying it in the last.
It's quite the nitpick.
Metz are you really this thick

Yes.
I.
Am.
He was reaching for his off-switch.
He keeps his gun in a holster on his hip.
I'm just rationalizing that.
Then he teaches Carl how to dance like a human and how to be successful in human-robot relationships.
Also, in the first comic it wasn't just performers, it was people with vocal ability, and we haven't seen a singer for the Claptraps. Although I suppose there could be members that aren't in the frame, given the piano.
it's a copy protection scheme gone wrong
starforce? more like deathforce
Confused me for a second, but then I remembered the Golden Ratio can be approximated by dividing subsequent numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence (link), and I thought, "OH! The golden mean! That is pretty clever."
Then a couple posts down I realized you just pulled a number out your ass.
My deepest and most sincere apologies to good taste everywhere

the art's rough, but the joke still works and the art's still better than I could manage
Mine's even better: The band's name doesn't follow the curvature of the banner.
If the banner were hung perfectly horizontal the name would arch upwards. Which I could believe except it doesn't match the bass drum.

I mean, consider print comics like Brenda Starr, Dick Tracy, Little Orphan Annie, ummm...I dont know. Theres a good number of them. But I don't know a single person who reads them. This is why the "funny" comics outnumber the serious comics by probably ten to one. There's no joy in reading three little panels at a time of some massive story arch.
People turn to the comics page for a quick chuckle. Nothing more. And the overwhelming majority of comics in the papers fail at that. Most are painfully-unfunny zombie comics still getting cranked out long after the original creator died.
But I'm getting off track. A webcomic can solve this three-panel-at-a-time problem by putting as many panels as they want. And this Automatica or whatever does that. But still...seven or whatever panels doesn't really solve the problem.
If its released as a full on graphic novel...I still wouldn't be interested because I outgrew comic books 15 years ago. But, yeah I'd be able to see the appeal at least. Released as a serial though...I dont see it.
in other news, i like this comic
eventually tube will just make it permanent

What bothers me is that in the first panel you see the door's window/peephole thing has bars on it and when the door is opened in the second panel the bars are gone!
THAT bothers me.
See now if the bouncer robot had been the door then he would have had the grill over his eyes/peephole which would have been hilarious.

I cant see being a door as a very good career choice.
Uh, it is if you're built as a door.
You think a door-bot is going to find work as an assembly-line welder-bot? I don't think so.
your = belonging to you
their = belonging to them
there = not here
they're = they are
Dammit, Ramius, stop making me smarter.
However I was halfway through reading it when my mind went "He say you brade runnah."
oh shit stuff is gonna go down oh dang
I really hope they do manage to find the time to make a full comic out of it.
