Theres a song that starts with this tune:
"Boom Oo Yata-Ta-Ta,
Boom Oo Yata-Ta-Ta,
Boom Oo Yata-Ta-Ta..."

(say it aloud) its not vocal its like drums or something, and i can't remember anymore of the song. I just have that intro playing my head constantly.
any ideas? thanks

Not for nothing but just saying "a song with drums" is shite for a lead. You could have given a general idea of what genre it is.

That said the most recognizable song with a heavy drum lead I know is Ratamahatta by Sepultura.

yo, it's not a tune with lots of drumming. what i was trying to say is that this sound ""Boom Oo Yata-Ta-Ta" is not sung, its played on some kind of instrument, and i think it's the drums. as of that i know nothing else of the song. I didn't hear the song (well not for years anyway), I saw ""Boom Oo Yata-Ta-Ta" written down somewhere at work, said it aloud in my head and was like oh thats the intro to.... and then i came here

you can call off the searches, apparantly its "will you miss me tonight when i'm gone" from a morecombe and wise sketch, and somebodies drumming boom oo yata-ta-ta in the background

yes! thankyou, a co worker recognised the sound i was making and told me it sounded like that but i was having trouble finding the actual music. I guess the voices turned into drums in my head over like 12 years
