can't change my firefox theme.

I am runing winxp pro sp2 vs 2002 and i can not change my theme in firefox it tells and shows me me that i have under themes in firefox now i am useing 2.0 right now but i had the same thing happen right before i upgraded.Now i can go in the display porperties and change things (colores, fonts to or from classic) from there but but if a use a theme on windows it's self everthing but firefox will change.i have tryed makeing diff profiles in windos and firefox and see what that dose but still the same thing.
