[Mini-Phalla] Law & Order: The People of New York Have Won
AriviaI Like A ChallengeEarth-1Registered Userregular
In the criminal justice system,
The people are represented
By two separate but equally important groups
The police who investigate crime;
And the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.
These are their stories.

General Rules:
If you are dead, you may not speak to any other player, LIVING OR DEAD, about the game. One dead post is acceptable, but it should be nothing more than “Oh crap I died.” or some variant thereof.
No anonymous contact. All PMs or messages outside of the forums must be done with full disclosure of your forum identity.
You may not use screenshots to “prove” anything to anyone.
You are free to create Proboards, make sure you give me access so I can examine them.
No direct sharing of role PMs.
No public reveals.
Do not quote the docket.
Vote in red (but see The Docket below.)
Ask for clarifications in orange.
The Docket
Each day in a Phalla, the village votes to kill one person. In L&O Phalla, the jury votes to find one person guilty. However, juries cannot just randomly put someone off the street into jail. Evidence must be gathered, cases must be presented, and then findings of guilt are made.
Each night, therefore, a number of players will be added to "The Docket," an ongoing list to follow this post. Each player starts off with two "shields" representing their (real or proclaimed) innocence. Once one shield is removed, you are added to the docket (accused.) Once you have no shields, the investigation against you is completed, and the docket shows your rap sheet: a full public reveal of your role name.
Jury Nullification
The jury (the village) can vote to find guilty whoever it would like. However, if it finds someone guilty who is not on the docket, jury nullification occurs. Jury nullification signifies that the the people have lost faith in the justice system of New York City, causing the courts to undergo a temporary period of chaos. When jury nullification happens, all players on the docket who do *not* have their rap sheets posted are removed from the docket. For this reason, it is a breach of the rules to quote the docket at any time. Jury nullification cannot happen on day 1, because there is no docket yet.
