Need some blogging help...

So a friend and I want to start a blog together; is there a free service, like blogger, that will let us both access the same blog and post articles, with the name and possibly a photograph of the author at the top of each post? You know, so it's clear who did what, and if we wanted to add more contributors, it'd be the same for them?

    Dunno about Blogger, but WordPress can do multiple authors. The design depends on the theme, I have no idea which are available and how they look, and I don't think you can edit anything with the free WP hosting.

    You can, however, download WordPress and host it yourself and do whatever you like. It's what I run my blog on.

    You don't have to with Wordpress, as long as you don't want to get really fancy.
