I peeked around the corner, making sure the last of the crowd had fled. It was all clear. I turned around, to let the man know it was safe to leave. I caught one wiff of a silver sword and a grey cloak before a stabbing pain in my side shot me out of the alley, and onto the street. I didn't bother looking around, I knew who it was. I made a break for my house. The mob had torn the door off it's hinges, but maybe the basement was still safe. I tore down the stairs, slipped on the recently formed ice, and fell. Rolling to my feet, I dove for the open hole in front of my fireplace. I landed hard on my shoulder. The pain overwhelmed my senses. I struggled to my feet, and looked up. A pair of cold eyes gleamed in the darkness, and a glowing silver sword did little to illuminate the hard face underneath the cloak.
I am saying that i'm Harry Dresden, the narration is done in his view point. That bit shows the attack on him and him evading.
I'm very surprised by the lack of kills. It has been a while since I have watched the show. Is the White Council evil? I don't see an obvious mafia faction in the narration. Blocked or otherwise.
