It's Madden Week everyone! .. that's great news for madden fans!
Also, Wii gets some kind of release of Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, the RPG by NIS!
Wii also gets an interesting WiiWare title called NyxQuest. Looks like a beautiful and interesting platformer, I might need to check it out.
The PS3 finally gets its version of MVC2. ITS GONNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIIIDE.
Finally, CORE DS is supposed to come out this week. I was excited about this at first, but its release date was shoved around everywhere, and in the meantime, some gameplay vids have come out. Initially it looked to be the Quake 2 + Quake 3 of the Nintendo DS, but the single player portion looks kind of bleh at this point and I'm not sure it'll be online enabled.

That said, nothing for me this week! Amazingly. Pretty sure my purchase schedule is free until Arkham Asylum (lest Trine hit before then).
The PSN is my enemy. It's a good thing I took my CC information off of it after they started selling PSN cards in Canada.

Dissidia, Persona, Jak and Daxter...anything else worthwhile hitting PSP this year?
Depends on whether you consider the games 'worthwhile' or not, but there's also Soul Calibur BD, Disgaea 2 DHD, Gran Turismo (I think that's this year, right?).
When is J&D PSP supposed to come out? Is it 11/4?
There's also Assassin's Creed Bloodlines which may or may not turn out well, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Disgaea 2 DHD will be $29.99. If you've never owned it, that's a ridiculous deal. And it's got three times as much content as Disgaea 1.

I watched my wife play through a lot of the Japanese version of Fossil fighters when it was released there, and I became quite jealous and wished my Japanese reading skills were up to RPG-levels. In other words, it looked like a lot of fun. She is an jrpg fan and loved it.
Naturally, it comes out in English when I am on a gaming-spending freeze ... but I'll definitely be picking it up in the fall.
I don't know what it is about it that interests me. I love Pokemon, so the collectathon/battling interests me. But I think it taps into my long forgotten love for all things dinosaurs that I had in gradeschool. That must me it.
Either way, when I get some funds, it shall be mine.

I know it was a fairly popular platformer at 200 points so I figure it's even better at a fraction of the price. I liked the demo but didn't purchase the full version back in the day; at 80 points, I really don't have any excuse not to next time I have some points.
