DOING POOP WITH SYNTHETIC ORANGE - MELBOURNE - June 7th, Sunday - Chinese food and drinks, I think is how this went. The awesome members of the Melbourne SE++ family met up (this means all of them sans YaYa who is a pedophile) and had good times.
SYDNEY MEETUP - SYDNEY - June 20th, Saturday - Also known as "HandsomePAX." I hear this was good, but not as good as the one that happened in Perth at roughly the same time. Because the Perth one was just better. I CAN'T FIND THE PICTURE OF THESE HANDSOME GENTS THAT WAS POSTED.
NERD MOVIE MARATHON - PERTH - June 20th, Saturday - a mass gathering of all the known Perth forumers! Iron Man, Transformers, and... Barbarella were watched to the accompaniment of burnt caramel popcorn, the yummiest spinach dip ever, and an abundance of alcohol. HELP ME I CAN'T FIND THE PICTURES, there were like three lots from me, Nick, and Courtney!
BLIVIENNE'S SUPER CASUAL HOUSEWARMING GAME DAY - PERTH - August 29th, Saturday - cupcakes and games and a total forgetting of picture taking because we were having too much fun to care! Blazblue, Monopoly, and Cluedo made impressive appearances, as did some sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Brownie and Gingerbread cupcakes and of course a metric fuckton of alcohol and other goodies (many foods courtesy of Courtney!). Also Kevin is dumb.
GRUG'S SUPER AWESOME MELBOURNE MEET - MELBOURNE - August 22nd, Saturday - Hangouts at the Exford Hotel to help Grug settle into Melbourne!

Of course not. Canberra is a black hole that sucks in happiness and fun and spits out sorrow and misery. A happy, bubbly friend of mine moved from Perth to Canberra for a big promotion within the government department she worked for. She moved to Melbourne and took a significant paycut just to get away, less than two years later.
I mean all we've heard is that all the women in Canberra are bitches that sleep with other people.

Hmm getting there might not be too bad, getting home however may prove to be and expensive endeavour, as once the trains shut down, it's cab time. A cab to my house from chatswood with the late night surcharge is like $80.
we could always start early on saturday afternoon? though i guess it's not that likely that an early start will lead to an early finish
edit: although if we're drinking all day, maybe the $80 won't seem so bad compared with all the cash you've blown on litres of beer and rounds of tequila?
i mean town hall is like two whole train stops away, but i'm willing to make the long journey
