hey all, trying to sell a bunch of old school games and all I wanna know is what's the best way to get an accurate value for the games I'm trying to sell? and as such, which website (or method) is best to sell them?

Ebay to both questions, most likely. See how much they've sold for recently to get an accurate gauge for what you might sell them for. Then sell them on ebay when the market isn't glutted with copies. That advice only applies if you're not talking about particularly obscure titles.

cool thanks. not necessarily obscure, but I do have a good number of old + rare games that are sought after. I'm just sick of sitting on them. They don't get played and I'm done with the whole collecting idea. I'd rather put that money towards better things.

Might try making a thread and listing them in the G&T forum, though be wary. Some folks might try to take you for a ride.

I was under impression that making a list thread of games to sell was looked upon rather unfriendly around these parts.

If you get permission you MIGHT be able to pull it off, or else create a sig that advertises the fact that you have a bunch of old games you want to sell. Then make a Google document with all the games in it, and have people PM you.

Yeah, I'd suggest Ebay as well. I've sold some old games on there.

Google shopping is a pretty decent way to figure out your price range. Some stuff'll be overpriced while others will be underpriced... and you should be able to find the proper price inbetween.

It sounds like you want cash, but you might have luck with Goozex. You could get enough points to cover future game purchases so you can save the money you would otherwise spend.

Goozex probably won't get him the extra value for them being collectible. Ebay is better for things with a rarity value.
