[LEGAL] Way To Play Games Without CD?

Specifically, Morrowind and/or Icewind Dale... I own the games, have the CDs... I just move my computer a lot and in the past, have gotten CDs jammed in the drive... because I'm a moron. I am hoping there would be a way to circumvent needing the CD in the drive...
If there's no legal way to do that, feel free to lock this thread.
My suggestion is to make an iso of your CD, and then mount it using your favorite cd mounter. Daemon tools, I believe, has a functional free version. Don't share the iso online. IANAL and I don't regularly read EULA's, but I'd be pretty surprised if you weren't able to make a copy digitally or hard for backup purpose and insurance against losing the disc - or scratching the hell out of it when it's jammed in a drive. Especially considering nowadays you can buy and download these old school games.
Don't try using one of those cracks that you can find online, they're not legal and will probably load your machine with a ton of spyware.

If you want a disc-free copy of something, buy it through a digital distributor.
