The other chat thread was locked, and I saw no new one.

Some light news for those that don't keep up:

-Blizzcon in less than two weeks!
-Season 6 is ending!
-Patch 3.2 is so awesome!
-Icecrown will have a billion bosses. And that's just normal mode.

What the hell has happened to my titles.

I used to have about a dozen, now i have 6?

Anyone else had a problem with missing titles?

They're in a scroll window now rather than the drop down, display all list that they used to be.

Unless you've already scrolled and are still missing them, then I dunno.

whats funniest about that meme is that the person who wrote the "not one but two jormungar worms" to begin with was probably a marketing guy who got asked to write some of the promo material for the patch, and the devs just ran with it.

    Must know dances.

Actually, don't we already have a male goblin dance? I remember seeing it somewhere in-game at some point.

Ah, right, Hallowed Wand - Pirate had a goblin dance.

So some stupid arbitrary change came about in 3.2 regarding first aid. Before the patch hit, you had the option of learning a max of 300 first aid from the trainer or going off and doing triage. The benefit of doing triage also made it so you could learn the bandages for free instead of paying the ridiculous gold costs at a trainer.

In 3.2 though, apparently Triage just gives you some stupid fucking gray-quality certificate. No bumping up from 225 to 300. I hope they kept the function of learning bandages for free in.

Not really, just speculating (though I must admit I'm rather comfortable in my assumption given how many fairly reputable websites are listing 'informed sources' as their...er, sources).

I said this in TBC and since it didn't happen then I'll say it again now. Two words:

    Carlton. Dance.

Don't care which of the races get it (ok actually it would be funnier if the Worgen did it). But someone has to get it. For the love of god.

Why would you say "I can't wait to see these details!" about something that's still speculation?

Because I'm fairly confident in the speculation. As long as the game's been out, the one constant we've been able to expect (and with increasing frequency) is leaks. I'm not quite at 'cock-eating' levels of surety here, but I'll say I'd be very surprised to learn that the races were something other than Worgen/Goblins.

A lot of animation of the goblins, and their basic skeleton, is that of dwarves. Like Blood Elves, they will likely get a wholly new model (same as Worgen).

And uh...how about that dance studio?

Heh, I'd honestly forgotten all about the dance studio. It's funny to think that that was one of the features touted when WotLK was first announced and it's never made the cut in its entire life thus far (and I'm betting it won't be in for 3.3/Icecrown).

    Cataclysm feature list:

    - A whole new underwater world to explore
    - Two new mysterious races to play as
    - Dozens of new instances and epic raids
    - Dance studio (for real this time)

Fuck a dance studio. I want a feature where we can change our character's animations of all sorts to use existing animations from other races / genders. The more mix + matching the better (as opposed to "Do you want tauren animations or orc animations" kind of stuff). I'm talking like changing your parry animation to something else, then your two-hand combat stance to something else, etc.

I'd have a field day on that. And spend hours upon hours messing with my toons.

I would like to see the option of being able to choose different armor models and change the colors on them. Everything I would have would be pink. Pink and black.

It would work well, my arena team is known as Pink Fluffy Bunnies

When I think about it there would have to be a limit to animation mixing (like some of it would look goofy, going from a two-hand mace stance with one class and suddenly jumping to do an attack animation from another). That'd be fine. But stuff that has no segue anyway, like going from a weapon swing to spell cast, yeah. Change that shit. I know this much - belf male casting animation would be favored.

I would like three different casting animations for every race, and everytime you cast a spell your character uses a different random one.

Not just casting, attack animations too. Like they have two per weapon type right now and it's barely enough.

Some of the melee special ability animations are so, so bad. Like the orc one-handed animation. They do some upward swing and then stab forward. What the fuck is that? :?

They do have two. One ends with their hands out in front, the other ends with their right hand in the air.

Though I admit they are more similar than other races casting animations.

Yeah tauren have two end-cast animations. But the actual channeling animation, just one. It happens to be one of my favorites too. It was a screen shot of a tauren shaman in that animation, when the game was announced, that made me decide to roll a tauren shaman when it came out.
