Web Host Disapeared, with my Files

I've run into a pretty horrible situation with the hosting company that houses my person website and portfolio.

The company is In2Hosting.org. I've been a customer of theirs for a year now, with few problems. On Friday, out of nowhere and with no warning of downtime, my website became inaccessible. Any attempt to go to its address just gave you the typical "server not found". I went to my host's website to fill out a support ticket, and found that their online support form wasn't working (their website was though). By the next day, their website was gone as well. Now if you go to their website it displays the default GoDaddy "this page is parked" page.

I've sent e-mails to the contacts I had (all on the @in2hosting.org domain) - they have all bounced back. By Googling the company, I found an e-mail for an employee at a wi.rr.com domain - e-mails to that address have bounced back. I found a forum where an employee had worked and PM'ed him - his account has since disappeared from the forum. My Pay-Pal stubs have a (877) phone number listed for them - I've phoned that multiple times over the last 2 days and it has been busy every time.

So basically, I am at whits end. I have a lot of resumes out that use my website as a portfolio of my design work, and I can see no way of getting around this. Is this a massive DNS problem or some other technical issue, or have I just been ripped off by my hosting company?

Would this Domain Techs be a parent company of In2Hosting, or the company hosting the servers that they use?

Also, is (877) even an area code for anywhere in the states. Reverse lookup with the phone number I have for them doesn't provide anything.

Edit: Also, dialing 1-888-801-1154 gives the message "this phone number is not available in your area at this time". :?

877 is a toll free, and therefore nationwide area code.

You can try calling up the Chamber of Commerce or Better Business Bureau in Milwaukee to see if they have any information on the company.

Since the email used to register is domaintechs@in2hosting.org, I would assume they are a child company.

Sorry that info didn't help much. :(

It sounds like you got ganked, unfortunately. There's tons of companies out there like this that basically just sublet webspace they've bought from another hoster. So it's easy enough for them to disappear without too much of a problem. Normally I'd say they were just having technical problems or something, but if you've gone through all these measures and can't even contact someone...I dunno. Doesn't look good...

I just realized that I am a moderator on a forum that an employee of In2Hosting (he may be the owner of just an employee) posts on, so I have access to the IPs that this guy has posted from. Could this help at all in tracking down a way to contact this guy?

One more question. If the hosting issue is never resolved (as in this company is horrible and has ripped me off) then is there anyway I can use my domain with another host. The domain was registered by the company, not myself, so I'm confused as to what I can do to retain the URL. Here is the info I can find on my domain:

    Domain Name: JONATHANSLOAN.NET
Registrar: THE PLANET INTERNET SERVICES, INC.
    Whois Server: whois.theplanet.com
    Referral URL: http://www.theplanet.com
    Name Server: NS1.IN2HOSTING.ORG
    Name Server: NS2.IN2HOSTING.ORG
    Status: ok
    Updated Date: 28-nov-2006
    Creation Date: 23-dec-2005
    Expiration Date: 23-dec-2007

If I contacted ThePlanet would they be able to give me access to my domain?
