i recently had an update installed on my computer as my computer shut down. im currently running windows media center version 2005 with update roll up two on my mac using boot camp. now when i try to start up my computer in windows it show "were sorry for your inconvenience but..." screen with the safe mode, normal mode, or last working settings ways to start up windows. when i choose safe mode it loads the drives but then just stops and xp never begins running. when i choose last working settings the screen stays on but goes black like right before windows starts loading. and when i choose "start windows normally" the screen just freezes. even the " seconds until windows starts " timer stops counting down. and if i do let the timer run down it just freezes like i chose the start windows normally option. if someone can help me i would really appreciate it.
Figuring out which partial update caused this would also be handy. You can see installed updates in add/remove programs; I dunno if it would show a partially installed one, though.
