That was a remake of this
Brick is a movie about a kid whose girlfriend dies and he looks into it and it turns into bringing down a drug ring
It's a essentially a noir flick set in a high school and it's really good
though in terms of spanish horror movie, i still think the orphanage is the best
it's really fucking scary!
but seriously I don't think you should watch this movie knowing much, it's a lot better that way
it follows a television reporter, Ángela Vidal, and her cameraman, Pablo, who cover the night shift in one of Barcelona's local fire stations for the fictional documentary television series While You Sleep.

True Blood is my new guilty pleasure (so long, Coldplay!). And yes, Brick is fantastic. Be ready for the dialogue though. It's pretty over the top, but in the best of ways.

I don't like the whole hating vampires = racism bullshit. It is probably the most played out thing whenever people try to do a "fresh spin" on vampires, and it is always poorly done. Nice subtltey doing this angle and setting in in DUN DUN DUN The South.
All the southern accents are atrocious and the acting is incredibly subpar.
I only watched 3 episodes before I couldn't take it anymore. And the only reason I watched that many was for a class I was taking. I honestly can't remember much more about the show but I'll watch an episode again when I get off work and revisit some of the other gripes I had that slipped my mind.
