Ok, you guys and gals are often a nice way to calm one's worries and get decent information so here goes.
I recently arrived in Tokyo a couple of days ago. I flew from London so it was roughly an 11 hour journey and although I never once stood up to stretch or walk to the bathroom, I did perform feet moving exercises and leg stretches. Since getting to Tokyo I have done a crazy amount of walking and now I have a real bad pain in my right calf. At first I put this down to a pulled muscle, but stupidly I did some digging and read into Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and got myself semi worried. I show no other signs other than the pain in my right calf, and this pain is only present when I get up to walk about, especially in the morning. If i massage my leg I get twinges of pain as well.
I guess what I'm looking for is either reassurance that it is just a pulled muscle, or a "go to the hospital and get it examined you fool!"
It's probable you simply sprained your leg while moving, sitting still for a long period of time can also lead to muscle degeneration, you also could be simply stressing your legs. DVT can only be diagnosed by a doctor though and even then only by ultrasound or a cat/mri. It's very rare for a healthy individual to have this happen and odds are if you've been massaging it it probably isn't a DVT as massaging can dislodge a DVT and end up as a pulmonary embolism/stroke/heart attack.
Try eating some potassium (bananas potatoes etc) and see if that helps.
Where exactly is it occuring? are you sure it's not simply a charlie horse? Is it near a joint? Is it near a bone? Location in the muscle? are you a healthy individual?

Every man is wise when attacked by a mad dog; fewer when pursued by a mad woman; only the wisest survive when attacked by a mad notion.
