I'm not much of a poster around here, but how is it possible that a search of the entire forums hasn't had a single mention of the music video starring the Guild with Felicia Day singing and lying in costume on a bed of gold coins?!?!?!

    I saw it back when it was on Xbox Live. I was amused. I want high res wallpaper shots of bits of the video too, but I cannot find them. Anyone else have and want to share?

    It's things like that which usually made me avoid mentioning that I play(ed) MMOs in any sort of conversation.

    And I still don't get the Felicia Day obsession.

    I had to do a google search to see who she was.

    "She's known for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Bring It On." according to Wikipedia.

    What, really? That doesn't seem like too to be proud of to me.

    And I don't find her particularly attractive, personally.

    Ya. I think the appeal is that she's a pretty genuine "real person who likes geeky things who is also visibly successful" - the Jonathan Coulton, Neil Gaiman appeal (to varying degrees). Also she's a girl, so guy geeks can be all "boobs."

    She's a pretty cool person. Tycho groomed her in a comic, remember?

    She does The Guild (Which is why this video exists), was Penny in Dr. Horrible, and a potential slayer in season 7 of Buffy. Also is in episode 13 of Dollhouse.

    I thought the video was kind of meh overall, but it was still kind of funny.

    I was caught off guard by the "tank n' spank" bit, so that got a laugh out of me.

    Huh. I guess I underestimated the wide net this forum throws. Diff'rent strokes and all that. I quite enjoyed it, but no one has ever accused me of being a music critic. I think Felicia Day is beautiful, and quite talented--so I suppose there's not a lot of equations that involve her that I wouldn't automatically derive into awesomeness.

    I thought the Autotune was part of the cheesy euro dance style they were going for.
