I'm hosting a pregame/party Friday, and I'm debating what kind of speakers to buy to hook-up to my comp.
In college last year, I had an old Sony stereo that worked well (the kind with the center-console that was a multi-CD changer, dual tape-deck, etc.). It had an aux-in, was loud, and had OK sound quality; but someone spilled beer on it and it broke.
Any recommendations for good, loud speakers (or stereos) that won't break the bank?
Thanks a lot

1. Never put your speakers where they can come in contact with someone who doesn't know proper beer-holding etiquette. Also... never allow them to be used as tables.
As for quality speakers... This set is pretty decent for around/under $100.
