My Ear Canal Is Too Small For Headphones

Ok, I've been going through headphones since most dont fit in my ear canal so I purchased the Shure E2-C since they're high quality and have a ear fit kit. I still cannot get a tight fit in my ears as they wont go in deep enough after following all the necessary steps. Is it possible my ear canal is too small for in-ear headphones?

Westone makes soft foam tips that you can compress really well to put them in your ears. They will fit the sure product line and are 10$ for a small bag. You might also want to get checked out for wax buildup.

To be honest, I find in-ear headphones hurt like a bugger after a bit of listening anyway. Have you thought of getting some ridiculously oversized headphones? I have a pair of Sony Hi-Fi ones I picked up pretty cheap and other than the kilometer long cord they sound pretty good. They're perhaps a bit too big but it least it makes you look like music is serious business.

I need in-ear headphones for the gym. I had regular ear-buds but they suck since they allow in outside noise.

Sony really does make some awesome headphones.

You can get pretty good isolation with "closed" headphones, though they tend to be big.

Also, I believe the general opinion is that Sony headphones are overpriced.

They are great, especially for the price.

I can't use those for the gym. I think i'll look into getting my ear wax cleaned out.

Koss Porta Pro are VERY great. They don't really let much outside sound enter.
