Installing Steam games on Ubuntu

So, I want to try playing some of my steam games on Ubuntu so I won't have to switch over to Windows every time I want to play, but I'm having trouble installing the games.

I have steam installed, but whenever I click install on any of my games, steam closes.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

edit: Nevermind, I just tried again and for some reason it worked this time. Please lock

    I'm pretty sure you're out of luck, with the exception of running a VM.
    And that will only help you play some of the games.
