So I have a Verizon Phone (LG VX8600) and a bluetooth adapter on my computer. The computer sees the phone and the phone sees the computer - they are hooked up. When I try to transfer a file to the phone from the computer, the phone automatically cancels it.
Is there some bullshit Verizon software that is stopping this and how do I get around it?
Yes, there is some verizon bullshit stopping it. It depends on the type of file your sending though. I would look into a program called bitpim. Thats what i use on my verizon phone (the v)
Figured if its ok with the mods and the OP i could just take this thread over since it seems the problem was solved and i dont see a point in starting another thread about bluetooth verizon phones.
Just got a new phone tonight, the LG VX8300. Picked up a bluetooth adapter for my computer but i cant get them to connect. Learned verizon blocks alot of the phones bluetooth abilities so im guessing this is the problem. Anyone know of any websites, programs, etc to help me get the most out of this phone?

It sucks and they faced a huge class action lawsuit a year or two ago.
