I just got my 360, and I read alot about updates bricking the system. My 360 was manufactured in June, should I worry about updating?

    If the update bricks your console, you sould be fine... Microsoft extended all current warranties to 1 year instead of 90 days

    LOL.

    The stories you hear about updates bricking the system are either entirely or mostly from people that hacked their DVD-ROM's firmware so they can play pirated games.

    As long as you use your Xbox 360 legitimately, you should never have a problem with your system bricking due to an update.
