Bombardier reminded me that I haven't gotten back to you guys, and for this I apologize!
We're still working on pagecount stuff, so we don't know the final number of people that we'll be able to include. (we're working on getting as many as we can in)
Thanks for the patience, and again, sorry!
I'd have replied in the Contest thread if it weren't locked, but either way, I suppose this might not get to its target; I'd also say you're welcome for the patience, except that I suppose I've been comparatively impatient, and that Firman did make a good point that I ought to have taken into consideration that hammering out details in grand projects like books would take a while, and that it isn't as though I'm not ever going to find out who's art get in. So, in the Spanish way, I say, no pasa nada--no worries.
guys, im back at my computer after just having snapped two pencils, bent a ruler, broke a cd case and threw my sketchbook across the room. I think i hate perspective.
Jesus, you just draw everything going toward a fucking dot. How hard is it?
Also, it can get a bit tricker, depending on how complex the scene is, or how thoroughly accurate you need the perspective to be. That said, I do reiterate, wck, that you ought to put up what you've got, so that the fine folks here might find a way to ease your woes.

I certainly have a hard time doing perspective on people. I have a suck-tastic skill relating to the inability to draw a person's head from every direction.
CommunistCow on
No, I am not really communist. Yes, it is weird that I use this name.
We all had to step outside for some fresh air after that.. just rubbing our faces trying to get blood back into them.. stumbling around like some disaster victims.

Double EDIT:
Man, this thread went by quickly...

EDIT: would be better if I could find any pics of it not from that one angle.

I like hacksaws and baseball bats too.
In honor of my new avatar I suggest
"Who can forget last year's costume party, where we went as Dorothy, Scarecrow, the Lion and.... 'the [chat]!'"
sounds like a sleep to me :P
edit: what about "bringing sexy [chat]"?
but I agree
EDIT: Crap! I've been swindled!
clearly ND hax.
I decided it could be used as a celebratory nap for my chat thread victory.
Aw fuck.
