Like it was OK when you still thought the writer's weren't just pulling shit out of their asses every time to add "mystery' or "intrigue"
Now it's like there's just a 5th grade contributed hat of ideas and...
Well, you get it. Lost is bad.
I'm not trying to be confrontational here, but have you actually watched anything beyond season 2? Season 2 was horrible yes. And season 3 was... middling, at best. But season 4, at least watched in the span of 3 days like I did, was fucking excellent. It was certainly good enough to completely redeem the show in my eyes.

That said, I'd still prefer more Pushing Daisies.
Man, season 4 is what made me stop watching. This is getting a little OT.
Because having to watch a show for four years before it gets good is completely acceptable!
Season 1 was quite good too. So we only had to watch one shitty season, and one average season. But I also feel compelled to point out that Star Trek: Next Generation didn't get good at all until the fourth season. Man, fuck that show.
If they don't release the last episodes for television, they will be able to use them as an extra incentive for consumers to buy the season DVDs.
Isn't there some kind of weird clause where if the full run of the season doesn't air, they can't sell it in DVD form?
My Wonderfalls and Firefly DVDs say that there isn't.
A lot of times, the final episodes get aired at some point on a weekend at like, 3 AM as filler.
Are you sure this wasn't the case?
100% Positive. Wonderfalls only had 4 of 13 episodes air in the US before its DVD release, Firefly had 3 episodes unaired before its release. I followed both shows quite closely .
It's a bit late (please don't hurt me), but the prez of ABC says taht they're more likely to make the last few episodes available online instead of broadcasting them.
Just a heads up... my DVR just scheduled a recording of the first of 3 "new" Pushing Daisies on May 30th. Apparently these are the last three episodes that were filmed but never aired. Hopefully they can give this great show some closure (though I have my doubts).

They showed Wonderfalls on LoGo, which I'm guessing isn't available in a lot of markets.
They are doing a 12 issue comic series to tie up the series.
It won't be the same. Think about all the dialogue the show has. Would you really want to read it all?
And considering the way the finale ends, they basically threw everything and the kitchen sink at trying to make something resembling an ending. There's a montage that ties up a few storylines while starting new ones...I think that's when they got word they were cancelled while filming the finale and did some reshoots.
Crap, was there an end of episode stinger? I left the room when the commercial break started, and I overheard something about "and you'll never see your pig again." Or something?
Also, anyone else spend the episode thinking
the taxidermy guy was really into Ned? Especially his frequently cut off "I thought you were..." bit.
EmperorSeth on
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

It was a promo for next week's episode.
the line was "find the real killer or you'll never see your Penny again."
I think they had Randy Mann put on the show as just a lonely guy who really REALLY needed a friend. Maybe he just likes Ned a lot, especially because his old friend is dead.
I actually liked the peek into the Darling Mermaid Darlings thing, but yeah...the ending.
I mean, I said it'd be unsatisfying, especially when you read about what they had planned for the rest of the season. They were going to use the back nine episodes to thoroughly explain the links between Ned's dad, Dwight Dixon, and Charles Charles. Also the pocketwatches and stuff about Ned's powers.
But apparently we're gonna get that in comic form, however the comics are split.
One comic plot apparently has a flash flood at a cemetery and all the bodies washing past Ned and being revived.
Where do we go from here? I want more. Where do you even buy comic books? I ain't desperate enough to walk into a comic book store. When do they come out, how much will they be and can I order them online?

I've already seen them. There is...the opposite of closure. They fucking kick open a door while pretending to shut some windows.

And yes, when the last of the three episodes is over I'm sure I'll be upset.
Edit: Also, when it had been so long since I hadn't seen an episode---part of me wanted to see Land of the Lost just to see Chuck
You know, she got like, 6 offers to do pilots for TV shows. She turned them down cause I think she wants to do movies.
We're gonna have to pay to hear her talk! In her English accent or her American one.

The fact that it's not is a good indication of why this show was canceled!

I swear that It was on TV over here a year ago or so, which means the finished product is available somewhere.
Also, does that imply that buying rights to air it on TV also gives them DvD rights? As I thought the production company got that.
Reading good dialouge can be fun, too.
Honestly. You people just want credit for everything good on TV don't you? :P

True that, but it was on aaages ago. Or this thread is Necro'd and I fail.

I'll only buy it if Jim Dale reads it to me.

Also, who noticed Elsa, the girl who lived in a windmill, on Glee? She was pretty good.
Uh, Jayma Mays was great on Heroes back when that show was still good. And she was on HIMYM.
She is adorable.

It's last year's, when everyone was still full of hope and joy.

They certainly did a heroic job trying to tie everything up and give us some idea of what would happen to the characters later in the series.
(I still missed Fredo. Randy Mann is a poor substitute.)
