So, I finally have room for my third follower, only problem is the ones I know are from way long past (Sogg and Magnus) or evil (Torian Kel, that dude by the graveyard). Would it be too much of a pain in the ass to try to get Magnus up to my level (level 8 to level 32?) or would it be worth it, I mean he does have his own voice actor
I refer to Arcanum as steampunk because it's an exploration of how new steam technology interacts with the fantastic of magical fiction. It's acceptable because the new technology rears its radical head in the face of traditional magical rule. One might think of the punk movement of the 80s and 90s and appropriately think the term "punk" applies.
u jasconius but it's steampunk alright. It's just set in a unique era of the world.
It took me 20 seconds to defend my use of the word "at length"... Let's just start calling it an FPS because why does anyone care?
I thought it was nerdy of me to explain my use of the term but now I see it's just your nerdiness riding in on the high horse of pushing your glasses back onto the bridge of your nose and nasally spouting something retarded that nobody cares about.
Need A minute steamworks. Wheel clan guy doesn't have one. Tarant guy doesn't have one. How long do I have to wait before they restock? Or does it even work like that?

1) Move away from the vendor by about 2 screen lengths
2) Advance day
3) Barter
4) ???
5) Profit
6) Larlar
I love that you can build power armor using a steam engine, and then shoot an elf with a machine gun. Or that you can wear a tuxedo and shoot an elf with a revolver. Or a jacket that heals you while setting an elf on fire with a flamethrower.
There's something about shooting an elf with a revolver that just seems right.

What game is this? I just got here.

I want to do with you
What spring does with the cherry trees.
I would say that there is a decent chance that it could, in fact, make toast, given that it seems to enjoy become roughly as hot as the surface of the sun.
Why the hell you running vista on that thing? There's, like, most of your problems with it right there. You can fix the heating issue with a decent external fan (unless the internal is totally gone).
Doobh on
Miss me? Find me on:

Dubh: Because my ridiculously powerful desktop had Vista, and I got used to it. Also, it was what it came with by default, and it never occurred to me not to get it.

I don't think you could really get the crafting/magic into it, though
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
he will always be a little bit behind but before long you won't notice it.
Pluto was a planet and I'll never forget
the etymology doesn't even work
Arcanum isn't steampunk. It's just steam.
nice try though.
I wouldn't even be surprised if the word steampunk wasn't on the back of the box.
So I'll call it whatever I like, thanks.

I think people just like saying the word.
Carry on then.

I love you too baby.
Really I'd be happy to see Arcanum remade with shiny 3D graphics in an isometric viewpoint. Oh and better combat.

Personally, I just enjoyed summoning demons from beyond the rift to do my bidding.

I love that fucking top hat.
P.S. There is a sublime majesty to using hand grenades to fight gorillas.
Yaaaayyy.

I would kill for this to be true
This is what I am saying, yes.
I mean did you taste the disc
was it slightly crumbly and did it go great with a bit of butter spread on it

It was a statement of disbelief pure enough to not require a question mark.
Is it some issue with XP?

The issue is more with running Vista on a laptop that really has no right to be running it.
Also, I might have a broken fan or something.
Game runs fine up until the point where my computer begins burning a hole through the furniture.
I mean hell
even an Eee could run Arcanum

The fact that I actually had to go look that up really highlights how technologically out of touch I have become.
