I'm interested to see how Talitha is going to respond to you shooting at a little kid.
I imagine poorly.
I think we might not bring this one up for awhile :P
She was standing not that far away!
I thought she left and went back?
Nope. All she did was stop chasing him. She stopped her horse by the bush, however. And then your last couple actions only took a few seconds, really. So even if she had gone to leave, she wouldn't be very far away when a gunshot suddenly went off. :P

Well...crap.
But this is what you wanted, anyway! So you should be happy =P

As an alternate option to interrupting my conversation, Talitha may interrupt Charles' knock and start a screaming argument on poor Madeline's front porch. If you do, try to keep it down long enough for me to get something useful out of this woman. Thanks.

Haha.
I really just wanted to travel back a second in time to before we got to the cottage. I don't think Talitha would let the whole "trying to kill the kid" slide for long enough to get back, somehow :P
Can't really blame the kid for running, I mean, the first thing Charles did was pull out his rifle.
As for the rock, well, if a guy who is good with a gun has it pointed at you.. running out into the open while its still trained on you is probably not the best idea. At least that was his reasoning. :P
btw, feel free to narrate Madeline opening the door for the both of you if you'd like, that way you can just go right into whatever you want to say once you get inside.

3clipse and El_Skid get to figure out how to deal with all their OOC knowledge without making the poor woman repeat everything she told me. :P
Hm. This is all definitely a bit different than the first few days of playing.
Is everyone just busy, or just bored already? :P

To be honest, I'm having a hard time thinking of what to do. I expect we want to confront someone about Samuel, but not in this crowd. I was kind of expecting shit to hit the fan over the whole "shooting at a troublemaking kid" incident, but if that's not going to happen Aidan is certainly not going to be making a scene here... maybe Charles wants to. :P

Haha yeah. It seems like all the characters are waiting for something to happen before we make a stink... The kid getting back, or someone challenging Charles over the gunshot...
Given the challenge is unlikely, we could probably skim over the first part of dinner (SAW providing near flavour text would be a huge bonus) until something important seems likely to happen. Or we can RP small talk for a bit in case something happens, and SAW can jump us forward if/when he feels like it.

I should warn everybody that I'll be gone all weekend without internet access.
If no one wants to butt into Marcus asking his wife about Samuel, I'll continue on. I'll give it another hour, or until everyone says they don't want to speak up.
I figure we can continue this way until you guys decide its time to say something.

I'd rather listen to what's going on, I don't think Charles needs to make a scene (read: another scene) right now =P
Sorry for taking so long to respond. I must have been blind yesterday--I totally missed the little blue dot.

BTW, I haven't disappeared, Aidan just isn't the kind of guy to open up a major conversation in this kind of crowd. Just assume he's sitting quietly until I decide to butt in.

That's most of the reason why I kept Madeline talking to Aidan, to give Talitha a chance to say something. :P
