Runaways Saga is narrated by Molly Hayes, so it may be worth picking up regardless of the fact that you own every issue.

Precisely the reason I put it on my list.

They had Captain America #25 listed before the Monday update, I wonder why they took it off. That needs a reprint postehaste.

    Exactly that.

It's nice to have if you weren't keeping up on all the titles for Civil War or The Initiative, because it gives info on the general state of things going on all over.

Having seen pages of it posted on scans_daily, I would recommend avoiding it, personally. Didn't care for the art style at all, and the writing is terrible.

...also, considering the particular scans I'm talking about have them in Kansas, I don't think it's a retelling of the regular comic.

...they also feature all of the current characters, rather than the original six.

There are a couple bookend pages that tell a new story, but the bulk of it is the Runaways as told by Molly Hayes.

Best books were probably JSA and X-23.

As expected, everything was good this week. Well, except Omega Men. It ended on a kinda "meh" note.

Best books were probably JSA and X-23.

I think it's kinda satisfying that we know how Kimura ends up. That ending changed how I saw Emma as well. I didn't really think she was committed to her students before that.

Pretty good stuff this week, I particularly liked JSA and X-factor, and the Huntress/Catman stuff in Birds was interesting. There can never be too much Secret Six.

I don't know how I feel about the Ion mini-series

It wasn't consistent in quality. First it was slow, then it was good, then it was good/slow, then it was "wait, did anything really happen"

It looks to just be a "kickoff" for Sinestro Corps

Man Kyle had better fuck some shit up or something. He is like more powerful than a green lantern but he hasn't done shit with his powers yet except for that one thing he did in this week's issue.

For a defender of a universe, I'm not entirely sure what he defended.

A slow build up like this might work for a ongoing but for a mini I'm pretty sure things might actually have to, ya know, happen.

Did anyone else's JSA cover start rubbing off? I had black all over my fingers.

Do you live in Soviet Russia, where Power Girl rubs off onto you?

It bothers me that nothing is resolved.

Judging by this interview with Wizard, it seems like there were some changes forced in that altered the focus. Things that position Kyle & Donna for their roles in Countdown.

I actually bought JSA this week. There were two covers in the shop I go to, but I wasn't gonna pay $8.50 for the other one.

They should have put "Countdown to Countdown" on the Ion issues

Feh... Ion was such a let down... the most powerful thing he did was
    reanimate his mothers corpse
which was some fucked up shit...

This whole series has insaddened me... and they say at the end "read Green Lantern to find out what's next for Ion."

I freaking started reading Ion so I wouldn't have to read Green Lantern... my Hal-Hate wouldn't allow it!

He also brainfucked a New God

It's continued in Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special, not the main Green Lantern series.

Too bad though, as you're missing a pretty good series.

I collected it for a good while... until after the Hal/Batman team up... I think I stopped one or two issues into One Year Later... I just find Hal so uninteresting. It's probably just me...

Yeah, I did the exact same. Once I got to see Ollie with the ring, my life was complete.
