So I keep seeing like comic book covers with people's characters, is that just photoshop or is there an option I'm not seeing on the champions site to make one?
See I am the only person who apparently likes PFF.
That being said, I don't have any extensive experience with Invulnerability and Regen.
That being said if they really are that much superior to PFF, then they are going to need to boost mobs damage again I suspect. And I am not even kidding.
Boo. "My chosen power is more gimped than yours, so I wanna make life harder for everyone else." That's not cool, bro.
No. It means that it is pretty easy to solo with PFF so if these other powers are much easier, then the challenge and balance of the game are still too low.
If I thought boosting PFF would lead to a challenging game for everyone, I would endorse that, my belief right now is that would not be the case.
Why be the guy who just wants the game to be super dumbed down and idiot proof easy? What good is that?
I am not the one saying PFF is underpowered, but I keep being told this by other people. If that is true, then to meet their targetted goals for challenges they would likely have to increase mob difficulty.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier and make more sense to just change those skills, instead of a change that would affect every skill?

They are made and put into your screenshot folder when you save a custome in the costume editor.
absolutely no fix to Taser Arrow being able to chain-hold people.
Soon, soon...
Did you ever look into blocks and travel powers Akinos?
I knew about the teleport and tazer hold things awhile ago since Akinos told me ingame he was fixing them. Granted I don't pvp anymore due to that glitch or whatever Magitek showed me but still nice to see they are fixing some stuff.
They fixed it. But not before a buddy of mine managed to solo whatever the giant uber monster is in Canada.
I would really like to make [P.A Joe] so i can use my call sign again :P
This creator is perfect for making G.I. Joe-esque costumes. Someone on here has a character called Shark Whisperer that looks exactly like he could be a Cobra Frogman.
Man, so what should I take as a dual blades/munitions at level 17... gatling gun? rocket launcher? the martial arts self-heal? mini mines? too many choices!! Currently I'm sort of the striker of my little band, and I'm still rocking the two-gun mojo as my main attack... I mix it up with breaching round'd shotgun and use the dual blades energy builder with grinning ghost. Opinions?!
I wish the direct heal-other powers in this game were less... well, crap. I superstat into the superuseless Presence and spend my entire energy bar and a 4 second cast time on giving someone a third of their health back. Whoop-tee.

I hope they give us a free respec when Blood Moon hits. The Seraphim and Nephilim powersets would be perfect for my character Guardian.
Granted it'd take me practically no time at all to get him back to where he is, but I also really don't want to run through the tutorial and Canada again.

There’s a lot to cover this week, so let’s just dive right in like Armadillo tunneling his way into a bank vault.
More Content!
Monster Island has three new repeatable mission chains to help bridge our content gap there. These are unlike any of our other missions in that they’re designed as destinations you’ll revisit and will change over the course of several missions. Here’s a sneak peek!
The Hidden Base
Heroes discover the entrance to a secret base in Well’s Pass. None of their contacts know anything about the entrance so it’s up to the hero to check things out. What secret project lies deep within the VIPER base?
The Lost Caves
A series of lost caves has been discovered by the intrepid Paleontologist and television personality, Professor Plummet. His early reports have come back, stating that Elderworms have also found a way into the labyrinth of caves, and are using them as hunting grounds. Contact has been lost with the professor, and help is needed in finding him.
The Manimal Lab
A group of Manimals are behaving strangely and are guarding a nearby cave complex. Further investigation reveals a hidden laboratory that also acts as the prison for a highly intelligent rat Manimal named Professor Ratso.
We anticipate these mission chains will make their way to the Public Test Shard next week and we’ll need your help making sure they’re ready for release to the live servers.
Adding Some Meat to Team
We’re working on several new additions to the teaming system. We’re currently testing new UI that allows players to see the state of team missions even if they don’t have them. Upcoming additions (in development) include showing your team members’ current objectives on active missions and adding rewards for heroes that assist on missions, even if they don’t have the mission themselves.
Do You See What I See?
Graphics performance should be better overall for players. Some high-end users have experienced what appears to be a reduction in performance. But this is actually due to us fixing a bug where sliders that were set all the way up in certain categories weren’t actually providing that level of increase. Players with top-end graphic cards should retune their settings for maximum performance.
The Mail That Ate Sheboygan
Many fixes to our mail woes have already been pushed to the live servers, but one big one is currently on the Public Test Shard and will be pushed to the live servers ASAP. We also currently don’t have a way for players to send resources to other heroes. This is a known issue, and requires a tech solution to implement. I don’t have an ETA, but it’s on the list. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
The Balance of Power
We’re currently making passes on all the powers in the game and will be making changes designed to not just bring aberrant powers into line, but increase the effectiveness of those that need it. We’re also examining the best ways to inject more resources into the economy. Our top concerns are what are concerning you as players. We're working as fast as we can to address issues, work on the overall balance of the game, and be as responsive to possible. Keep hitting the forums with solid, constructive comments and we’ll keep working to make the game better and more balanced in both the PvE and PvP arenas.
Powers Aren’t Black / White – Yet…
We’re big fans of being able to shift the hue of powers into the realms of black and white. The issue is that these aren’t hues, but tints. This means that with the current way our color system works, you would see pure black or pure white colors as opposed to the grayscale subtleties required to give you the look you actually want. Basically, it requires some new engine technology, but we’re looking into how to make this happen.
Celestial Power Set
Along with some incredible events and rewards, there’s a new power set coming out with the Blood Moon event. The Celestial set is designed to provide assistance to allies and destruction to enemies. The power effects are amazing and the versatility of the set makes it both compelling as a single-focus set and also as supplementary powers to other builds. We’re going to be doing a special feature on the website in the upcoming weeks showing off the powers, so stay tuned for a detailed look.
Tutorial? We Don’t Need No Stinking Tutorial!
While it sounds simple, there are few things we had to design out to allow players to be able to skip past the tutorial if they’ve already done it once. It’s next up on the list for our content lead, and we’re hoping to have this onto the Public Test Shard as soon as next week.
Where the Duels Are(n’t)
We’ve heard your requests for our more social areas like Club Caprice and The Powerhouse to be duel-free zones. Both our content and programming teams are combining efforts to get this in as soon as possible.
A Room of Danger in the House of Power
We’re designing a new room for the Powerhouse where you can try out your powers against automated enemies. We’ll be sure to inform you when this moves to the Public Test Shard so you can help us test it out!
See you online, Champions!

saving one of my completely free respecs on a 29 I have, just for blood moon
also finally some repeatable content for MI. really needed it
I plan on keeping my respec until level 40. So far I haven't done anything to "gimp" my character, so I will hold onto it until I hit 40 and then reconsider my choices.
No, they just don't want people dueling next to the trainers. They will probably add a new room for it.
The new room they are adding that gives real enemies to fight serves most of the purposes that dueling did. Hopefully they add a room for dueling too, or allow it outside of the trainer room, as NPC enemies won't test PvP effectiveness like dueling can.
So I cancelled my subscription this morning. I'm enjoying the game but I don't see the value in the recurring subscription cost.
I'll play out my free month and if I'm still really into it I'll see about continuing.
Same, several days ago. It's good enough for 30 days, which is about the same amount of time that I play most console games or single-player PC games. It just doesn't have enough, I don't know, anything to justify my spending anymore time or money beyond that.
Plus, the PvP is laughingly bad. Some builds have endless amounts of health and energy and are able to CC and/or (usually and) escape at a moment's notice, while the vast majority of others are there for them to toy with. Surprising that such amateur game design still makes it out of the gates this long after WoW, but hey, I guess this is a new Mythic for Blizzard to drop their schlong on.
Hey, so what's the first Lair we can run? I'm trying to find it on Champs Wiki but I'm not seeing level ranges.
Honestly, I think it is Teleios' Tower and Dr. Destroyer's Robot Factory. Their respective missions are picked up around level 28. The Robot Factory has horrible puzzles, though. Both bosses are great fun.
EDIT: Stronghold is fuckawesome as well, but I did it solo. Make all the enemies (tough) and put a better battle with Menton and you'll have a great lair.
But seriously, in a game that allows min/maxing, you aren't going to beat min/maxers with a haphazard build. No matter how much balancing you have.
Remember, you have access to everything they do.

I want some guidance from people who have played to higher levels or more in general on what to do with it. He's currently level 18, and I want to make this one work if possible. I made preliminary power picks up to 40, but some of those will probably have to be replaced. He's pretty much all elec apart from some defensive stuff, and tentatively a couple particle things in case immunities/resists are a problem in PvE (are they?), but those are likely to change to either more elec stuff or just support stuff. Ego sprites is getting a bit of tuning down next patch so I'm not too keen on getting that.

Except time. The best min/maxers have time to experiment with everything and kekekekeke with each other on their boards to tell each other the tricks of the trade. Me, I could never hope to beat them because I have a job, a dog, a girl that wants me to play with her instead of the computer, and I'm not a member of the PvP MMO forums (I'm here and I lurk at SA... that's it). I accept that, but the people that are whipping up on everyone are whipping up on them not just due to skill, but due to time investment. Unless you're willing and able to take the time to study up on shit, you're basically Tomato Can Joe going in to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Builds/tricks will always become widespread after (a rather short) period of time, but those that put the most time into it will always be trying to stay one step ahead. I don't see how your argument wouldn't hold for any game with PvP in it.

To fix PvP they need to turn every ability into Haymaker upon entering the PvP zone, max everyone's strength and remove travel powers. The only way to get points to win a round is to knock opponents into targets placed throughout the zone.

So far on mine, whose 12, it seems to be helping. I imagine it will help a lot if you plan to do toggles.
As well, at least for me I plan to get some of the gadget pets which it will help on too.

The Raid
you can't put in the code:
on status: held
add buff: indomnitable
on hold: if status = indomnitable, no hold status
or diminishing returns it.
i dont know, i'm not a coder, but i do know i paid $40ish for a game that was written by coders.
