Meat, garlic, and onions will carry you far. Also, for Mexican-type stuff, any combination of spicy things in the cupboard will do. That plus corn, beans, meat, cheese, rice, tomatoes, onions - the result is usually pretty decent.
Wow, the organic chemistry course director just rickrolled all 600 of us :P

I am missing some critical part of these studies and I am not sure what it is. I feel like I'm making progress but...lips. I am hung up on lips. I've done skull studies out the ass, but the action of lips wrapping around the upper...jaw mandible thingy is evading me.
My parents apparently never considered that I wouldn't, immediately after moving out of their house, get married to a woman beamed in from 1953, so as a result nobody taught me anything growing up so I'm a pretty shit cook.
My 1950s girlfriend is pretty great.
Except for her super pointy bras.
And racism.

I am getting hungry now...this is terrible. I am so tired of eating food from the same places. Why can't Encinitas have better resturants? We have like two resturants that aren't major franchises which also don't cost more than $15 a plate.
Actually cooking has interested me for awhile but....my mother never cooked growing up and while my father did...I didn't live with him and he mostly cooked stupid food I wouldn't eat. So when I went off on my own I did what I knew best....go out to eat.
Cooking seems like an awful lot of work for one person though. I don't know...it just doesn't seem worth it. And everytime I go to the store to buy shit for cooking I end up spending an assload of money anyways. It doesn't really seem that much cheaper.

You don't have to spend an hour in the kitchen for each meal....and if you do need to spend a while in the kitchen to cook something a little more involved...just make a large amount of it, and freeze or refrigerate the leftovers. Voila!
I told you...get oatmeal. You don't even have to keep milk stocked in your fridge...and it's also much quieter.
I don't have milk, I just eat the cereal with my fingers straight out of the box. Also to make oatmeal the way I like it (extremely thick) means having to scrape the oaty residue off the bowl which is annoying.

Stir Fry, cake. Stir fry is the secret. They are generally easy, cheap, tasty, and good for you. Equipment that you will need includes: a pan.
I do like the top layer of pudding - the "skin" - that happens when you make puddin' (not instant stuff). I think it's just gross because it's called the skin.

I bought a fantastic wok/pan thing - it's like a wok, but it has a tiny flat surface at the bottom...it's like a super deep pan. Versatile and fantastic!
But yeah...many veggies and some chicken, and easy on the sweet sauces. Healthy-tasty!
Aaaaah and you get brown rice with it and aaaaaugh so good

Might want to try doing some copies of the mouth studies from the Vanderpoel book.

Also I cannot cook anything, but I do have an amazing kitchen. So that's....useful.

Cooking montage!
And Ikage and I will have a cookoff.
You've already got the car, now you just need to find a drive-in A&W and slap a rollerskate server on the bottom to win her affection. 50's style!

I think he'd rather hold out for a 50s wife.

He told us.
Hey, don't be too hasty.

he must commit.

Cake stop being a dummy, and start cooking! $50 suddenly gets you more than 4-5 meals!
oh oh oh, and I'll make stir-fry.
you're not proving anything to me here
except that you're being dumb
cooooooooooook
e: for the record, I'm calling you fat.
It's easy to teach yourself cooking. Just do it!
30 hours later you'll know how to cook.
I could probably manage that

I misread that and though you'd turned into the Librarian there.

Did you just throw your phone away after calling me or what
One time I bought a huge tub of oatmeal and a big bag of brown sugar at 3AM, best impulse decision I have ever made. Lasted months.
I don't have milk, I just eat the cereal with my fingers straight out of the box. Also to make oatmeal the way I like it (extremely thick) means having to scrape the oaty residue off the bowl which is annoying.
+2 laziness points, I win.
