SEGA has sent word that Nintendo DS owners will soon get a pocket full of Sonic with the early 2010 release of the Sonic Classic Collection. The compilation, which hasn’t been given an official price point or exact release date as of yet, will include all three original Sonic titles as well as Sonic and Knuckles while providing some sort of “new save feature” and delivering an “in-depth” video about our speedy blue little friend.
I want a DS case that has a charger built in
considering the variety of manufacturers making cases and satchels and packs for DS games and shit you'd think there would be ONE that would have a spot for the DS and a built in charger and a few places for games
but nope
a miracle product that exists only in my mind

Sonic 2 is the only Sonic I haven't finished, that I've played with any interest to finish it.
So, I've finished Sonic, and Sonic 3.
i finished sonic 2 on the 360 because it has a save at any time ever function which made getting the emeralds easier and also not dying at metal sonic easier
I've bee n playing might and magic clash of heroes nonstop since I got it. The game is like puzzle quest, but even more rpgish. I love it so much. The only problem I have with it is that the storyline is kinda lame and way too linear. But yeah if you're jonesing for an addictive puzzle-rpg game, this is your crack

That looks fun. Will it be released in Europe at all, or is it import time again?

Dunno. It was published by ubisoft, I think. Don't know if that means it'll get a European. Though it's a bit hard to find in the us now, so importing it asap might be the best bet
I'm tempted by the idea of the DSi XL. It's not like I'm squinting to play my DS but it would be nice to have the larger screens when I'm just sitting in bed playing an RPG or something. I would still rather have the GBA port than the online stuff though.
And yes there is a "Spirit Tower" which replaces the Ocean Temple, but it's no longer time-based and when you beat a section of it you don't ever have to play through it again like you did in the other one

I'm gonna play a shitbutt of video games once this semester is done
I got about halfway through Final Fantasy Tactics: A2 and then stopped a few weeks back, but it was hells of fun and I really want to finish it, if not start an entirely new file, since reading up on it I missed some pretty sweet gear/class stuff
Also plan on replaying both super mario galaxy and mass effect

this is fantastic news
it's like a spiral staircase with each new dungeon-part being a floor you don't actually have to ever enter again

Hmmmmm... play.com and amazon.co.uk says you can preorder it and that it'll be released January 22nd, but nintendo.co.uk doesn't list it at all. Weird.
Ooo, Golden Sun DS and Picross 3D and that Edgeworth game! Things are looking up.

I may finally consider buying a new DS when this one is released.
The only reason I never got a new one after the first release was because they were too small for my meat hooks.
so I guess this isn't a sequel to Phantom Hourglass at all...but all of Tetra's pirates are still there and there's a picture of Tetra pre-Zeldaifcation, but she doesn't know Link! Guuuhhhhh

I thought it was supposed to take place like a generation or so later, in the new Hyrule that they set out to establish at the end of Wind Waker

people all talk about how the kingdom was established 100 years ago
and there is someone who talks about how zelda looks just like someone she knew 100 years ago..

I just found my copies of Animal Crossing and Pokemon Diamond which I could have sworn I sold months ago
But in return I have lost my charger

A quick google search shows me this: Charging case thingy
Not the most elegant thing in the world, but eh.
