Years ago when I worked at Great Harvest we donated the bread that did not sell, and if it didn't get picked up it did get tossed. I seem to remember it being because the donation center didn't want old donations. Just the current day's haul.
Marc Ecko makes them. Javen and I saw 'em in uuuh Macy's I think.
Ecko has a whole star wars clothing line... I have 4 hoodies and 9 or 10 t-shirts. you can find the at macy's on sell all the time.
also i'll be getting a few pairs of those adidas star wars shoes
My hubby has the Boba Fett hoody from Macy's. He wears it as a regular hoody (not zipped up all the way, unless he's being goofy). It's the only one to me that isn't instantly obvious what it is when worn with other regular clothes.

The only thing that sucks is that they are constantly coming out with new products (which is nice too) but I can't show you any of the hoodies/shirts I have just because they arent on the site any more. I have the "dark side" hoodie which is very inconspicuous. I have a thin red one that was super cheap. My last one is super in your face but awesome. Its got storm trooper helmets across the shoulders and has TROOPER real big with MS13-esque Old English script. oh and crossed blaster rifles.

Do you mean this? That is pretty obviously something. I mean, almost all hoodies are solid, or prints, or having "Your College" on them.

It's similar to that, but when the hood is down and left all unzipped it isn't nearly as obvious who/what it is as the storm trooper or vader. I don't mean you don't figure it out after looking at it for a minute, but it isn't *BAM* that's a boba hoody.

Whole Foods gives a lot of their food to local farmers, if i remember correctly. i'll have to ask my gf, she works there but i always forget what exactly they donate and what they have to legally throw away
i am torn on whole foods. they pay their employees well for a grocery store but they dont allow them to unionize
Whole Foods is run by a crazy libertarian who hates unions and hates the idea of health care reform in any form
It caters to people who want to look like they're 'conscious' and 'progressive' without actually caring about supporting the marrow of the average person
Harrier on

1. the person a company is run by doesn't necessarily mean the company itself is a pile of dicks. 1 dude does not a company make
2. i agree that i dislike his stance on healthcare reform. HOWEVER, he does happen to provide all full time employees, no matter what level they are(cashiers, etc) with quite good health care. So he have experience running a company in an industry that generally does not give benefits to its lower level works and pulled it off. So I'm willing to concede that he has some insights that I do not.
3. I'm not exactly sure what you mean in that last sentence. yes they do market themselves as natural and all that, but they live up to it for the most part. And a lot of their produce and meats are usually local/regional, thus supporting the local economy.
plus as i just mentioned they do donate food and stuff.
i mean, they aren't fucking wal-mart or anything. as far as massive corporations go they aren't that bad

In particular, winter coats are on sale everywhere, so it's a good time to buy something for the rest of this winter and next year
And you're a jerk
