Since I'm pretty sure that one remaining spot will be filled by tomorrow evening, role PMs will go out then, and day 1 should end the day after.
So are we getting role PM's tonight?
I heard from my older brother's friend whose dad is the mayor of Samura City that PM's will be sent out the very night that all spots have been spoken for.
I've heard that and I've heard that the mayor is being investigated for kidnapping and torture of high-school students. A report in the Samura Herald says:
Students thought dead have been re-appearing along the road near the mayors mansion days after their initial disappearance. Initial investigations have led to a subterranean complex with strange contraptions that appear designed to strip a persona from the mortal host.
Friends of the recovered students describe them as disturbed and altered.
"Arata Chika hasn't been then same since he was found again" says his classmate, Haruko. "He hardly talks and is terrified of being alone when it's dark out"
The mayor is denying all involvement in the disappearances.

Yes, role PMs will go out tonight. When I finish them... well, that's the trick, isn't it.
But rather than bury everyone in a deluge of information after sending out the PMs, I think I'll get this over with in advance for once, so you can consider this in the interim(as sending the PMs could take a while).
The Basics
There will be two primary factions: the village majority, and an evil minority, with a few out for their own ends in between. The village must eliminate the minority for a victory, whether via voting or via ability usage. The minority simply has to outnumber the village for a victory.
Those caught in between will likely claim victory if they survive to either of those win conditions.
Special Abilities
-Everyone will have a special ability(a 'Persona'). Some have permanent abilities, some do not, so be sure to consider its limitations before using it blindly. Some could even be taken away from you or have their abilities used to alternate ends, so be wary.
-Players will be permitted to combine their abilities for a enhanced effect against a target, with a maximum of three. A combination of two will allow for an enhanced ability, while a combination of three will allow for an enhanced radius(targeting more than one player). The resulting affects will depend on those who participate, so keep this in mind. You won't know what happens until you try; only whether it's beneficial or detrimental to the target(s).
Special note for returning players: I will not be reusing the same Personae, so don't think that information will be of use. But nice try.
Rumors
-Sumaru City has been known to be easily swayed by the power of Rumors. What is said amongst yourselves and spread by word of mouth can potentially become reality, even going so far as to change the very nature of the game, or at least its mechanics.
So how do rumors work?
I'll just quote myself in that regard.
It has been said that when a rumor gathers enough of a following, it will become reality.
There are several known ways to spread rumors, and perhaps even unknown ones.
-Word of mouth.
Inform other players. Gather a following. Once adequate support is gathered, inform the GM(Philemon), and see what comes of it. However, if a rumor does not have enough backing behind it, it will likely not come to pass. False support will not avail anyone; rumors will be followed up on to ensure an actual following exists.
-Rumormongers.
The specialists of Sumaru. Those who traffic in gossip, passive comments, and everyday idle chitchat. They keep an ear to the word on the street. If you have a rumor that needs to be spread in a less obvious manner, inform the GM(Philemon) that you wish to let a rumormonger do the leg work.
However, Rumormongers don't work free. If you want the skills they have to offer, you may need to offer something in return. If your rumor is especially interesting, perhaps they'll let it slide without requesting payment, but that's a chance you'll have to take.
Also, each has their own way of conveying information, and there's the risk that it can be lost in translation.
Decide if the benefits outweigh the risks, and proceed accordingly.
As with combinations, rumors are entirely optional. Again, the path is there, if it wishes to be tread.
(Note: Rumors will be approved at the GM's discretion, and blatantly game-breaking varities will not be permitted, such as revealing player identities or killing off specific players. Think outside the box, and be rewarded accordingly.)
But for purposes of the sequel, keep in mind that there are a few new faces among the rumormongers. They all have their ways of spreading information, so be wary.
Votes will be casted in the standard !red(name) format. Any votes casted before Day 1 begins(signified by a narration) will not be counted, but feel free to consider your opening volleys in advance.
Requests for clarifications can be posted in orange, though the responses may be slow in the coming. That said, signups closed.
Any questions regarding your PMs should be directed to Philemon, as they will be sent by him.

This is weird. Been walking around campus of late and swear I keep hearing whispers, or seeing people oddly glance my way as I walk past. I look to a random sign and there's this...intelligent gibberish there that almost seems to mimic the whispers. Started bugging me enough that I decided to see if I couldn't write it down (to prove I wasn't going insane):
"Each turn of the moon, night's mistress becomes fickle. Those who've been naughty suffer negative setbacks, while those who've been virtuous are rewarded for their integrity."

EDIT:
I am attempting to get my friend into this, but he is currently on the train, is it possible for me to save a spot for him?
Oh boy, a phalla!
Certainly.
Nevermind, my friend was demurist.
So are we getting role PM's tonight?
I heard from my older brother's friend whose dad owns penny-arcade that PM's will be sent out the very night that all spots have been spoken for.
And he would know.
fixed that for you.

I dunno, samurai scares me.

A new day has dawned. The sins of the past are forgotten, and life in Sumaru City continues, unfazed by the burden of lost memories.
However, where there is a void, something always rises to fill the gap.
Sins are never truly erased. Their penance can only be delayed.
And there will always be atonement. You may forget... but fate will not forgive.
There are already whispers among the populace.
Phone calls that lead to murder at the hands of one who calls himself THE JOKER.
Call the number. Provide a name. Bring about that person's end. And so the bodies have begun to appear.
One unsolved murder after another. The police are clueless, and the government has taken no interest.
So it falls to you with the potential: solve the mystery.
Discover what plagues Sumaru, and eliminate it from this world.
Do not think that passiveness lead to salvation. Should you fail in this, the end will consume all.
Including you. The future is in your hands.
I heard that kime is going to die on night 1!
True story.
All PMs should be directed to him.
Vote for a player to perish in !red. Vote close will be tomorrow(Wednesday) at 11PM, EST.
I will be lenient with inactivity for Day 1, but after that, it will be dealt with, so reserves are still welcome.
