There should be a cutscene in ME3 that is just ten straight minutes of Shepard punching the Turian Councilmember in the dick.

    The other two are fine.

The second he did those air quotes, I couldn't be annoyed at him anymore.

Look all I'm saying is that it is in his best interests that he continue to communicate with me solely through holograms because if I ever met him face to face I could not be held responsible for what I might do :x

Eh, there doesn't need to be a big bad. It's a well fleshed out universe with tons of races, factions, etc, that not having reapers wouldn't be a detriment to any potential stories and games.

Yes. Like I said last thread. I would be more then happy (in fact I might prefer it) if the focus was solely on inter and intra race politics and tensions. Sure you'd want an overall antagonist or theme to pull all the stories together. But it needn't be some galaxy destroying super monster. It could simply be a corrupt executor or something. Playing as as someone from c-sec would be perfect for this, you wouldn't even need to change the gameplay that much. And talking to people and helping them out with their problems might make a bit more sense then doin so whilst you're a covert operative.

Bioware should license out the franchise to Sega so they can make a SuperVolusBall game where you can use Biotics.

I can see why it's 'canon' that
The council is dead, because their reaction makes NO sense. There is proof beyond proof of the Reapers, their denials are nonsensical.

That's why you scale things down rather than up. Because up gets real retarded real fast.

    Scaling down loses the momentum.

For further reference on that: see ME2.

While the game is fucking awesome, and better than ME1, one of the poorer points is that ME1 overshadows it with the whole "HOLY FUCKING SHIT I SAVED THE GALAXY MOTHERFUCKER, YEAH!", while the biggest plot twist in ME2 was when you found the toilet in your private quarters.

I'd really enjoy just being out in the Verge as a marine. Really seeing how shitty things out on the frontier get without the lofty perspective of a Spectre or anything resembling an epic scope.

There's no momentum to lose. The Reaper threat is Shepards story. Shepards story ends in Mass Effect 3.

For this reason you can expect future games to not be titled Mass Effect 4, but rather Mass Effect: <Snappy Sidestory Title>

Man, now that I beat Mass Effect 2, I'm totally gonna go back to Mass Effect and make a character that''ll play through Mass Effect 2 and take into 3.

I'm totally gonna manipulate character deaths to guide the story in both games.

    I just beat this.
Not bad. The final mission was kinda easy (I hit level 30 during it, playing on veteran). Everything was fully upgraded, barring a few shotty and AR that I couldn't afford at the time.

It was pretty cool, but didn't feel anywhere near as epic as the ending to ME1. And seriously, what's the point of a human-shaped Reaper? Especially if all the others in that final cutscene are shaped exactly the same as Sovereign. I expected some variation there, depending on which species was dominant at the time of each reaper's construction.

Still, a satisfying game. Would play again.

Reapers are several kilometers long. The human Reaper, even if made to scale, would not be anywhere near that large. It is within reason to theorize that each Reaper shell is identical but surrounds a component that memorializes the parent species.
