oh dang okay i found the dress i was talking about
i still have it, i think its the only dress ive ever loved
it's like a firmer fabric, but not thick
the cuffs on the arms are kind of rolled up with the little attachment like on a military shirt
it also has the pocket on the breast though which is kind of dumb
i cant believe i finally found THAT photo while i was looking for a 90s photo eesh

Who had Sally Jesse Raphael glasses and a ridiculous, tie-dyed, furry coat?
Note that my brothers have really short hair and my sister and I have unkempt, straight hair
My mother had no idea how to do hair, at all. Even her brushing it hurt. A hairdresser cut off an inch about once every two years and that was it! My sister and I actually used to beg our dad to do our hair, whenever he had time before work.
that was one of the better haircuts
my mom once put a bowl on my head and cut around it, and cut too far back so i had bangs on the side of my head too.
and i was at an age where i could feel embarassment.

I had quite a few dresses, my dad always bought them. He bought most of my nicer clothes (and the shellsuit. The only time in my life in which I was fashionable!)
Also, I kinda want bangs again, like this, but with the rest of my hair being longer:
When I was in second grade, I had my dad build me an "electric guitar" out of wood because I needed it for a song we were singing about manners in a concert
I would like to point out that having an oversized pumpkin tux was not my fault!
My original reservation vanished from their computers, and I had to buy that thing straight up for 200 bucks because it was the only full tux they had in stock. And yes, that means I still have it.
At least there was a pretty lady on my arm for a distraction.
