jacob! Charade made me so happy. Inside. It touched me. The dialogue was the right amount of snappy, it was funny, it always kept me interested, and the plot was never idiot. And man, the technicolor was gorgeous. It was a trip.
So, I didn't hear it myself, but apparently the 40s-50s white people sitting at a table close by were making cracks about how "something doesn't belong" when I was hanging out with some white friends. I guess that explains why everyone got uncomfortable at some point.
I wish you had heard it, then you could hopped up on the table and broke out in song and dance.
Man that's one reason its probably good I'm not black. I couldn't handle shit like that and then I'd be "just another angry black man."
That and hair care is apparently much more burdensome

:^: Excellent! I'm really glad you liked it. And also, Matthau as a villain - I think for, like, the only time ever in his whole career.
There's a guy I've known online for like ten years who is obsessed with the movie. He collects any VHS or DVD edition printed of it anywhere (which is a lot, because it fell out of copyright), posters, memorabilia, all that stuff. Even that horrible The Truth About Charlie remake.

a last word variation with cognac for gin/rye and strega for yellow chartreuse tastes pretty much like a last word
so, in other words, it's awesome
hmmm
i have seen strega around but have not bought it
is it honestly distinct enough to own pods?
i am starting to run out of space
hehe, me too. No I wouldn't say to buy it for anything other than curiousity. It's basically a chartreuse/benedictine hybrid, maybe a bit sweeter. I like it a lot though, and it's italian, so it's bonus points for what I'm trying to do.

i liked charade!
but i like anything that Audrey Hepburn was in
what a lovely neck she had!
but i meant cheap reward
cheap reward is a much better song
stephen colbert even sang it on his show while elvis costello played guitar!
yes he got busy with a white girl dinfiniti
it's legal these days
no reason to keep spamming the fbi website
i like final words a lot. not sure if i would like the rye sub as much
I bet it isn't

last word is with gin and lime juice. The rye/lemon juice variation was created by Phil Ward from death & co., hence, the final ward.
Well, she's busy. So, I guess I'll be doing me, as they say.
night, [chat]

Will: Cheap Reward is indeed an awesome song. Did you see Colbert had Costello on his xmas special a year or two ago? It was pretty great.

I would not drink that
i did not see colbert's special
i have been trying to slowly turn frankie into audrey hepburn
i am basically henry higgins
I went all the way through my return, and then when I got to the final state tax bit they were like "surprise! we can't do fellowship money."
FUCK YOU

do you know what you're gonna show?
This is an excellent plan
wooooo
I'm on team ramrod!
I don't know!
Are you invited?
ass ass titties titties
The Room!
deep blue sea? the shanty band?
it's the worst
for some reason that band was always playing in the town i went to school in
god did they suck
i'm a little embarrassed that i even recognize their name
Deep Blue Something
the only song I've ever heard by them is Breakfast at Tiffany's
which, like I said, is actually based on Roman Holiday
there is actually a band called "Deep Blue Something"
not to be confused with "Deep Blue Sea"
I have learned something today.
it is in preparation for an appearance on Jeopardy or a ame of Trivial Pursuit basically
you've learned something lame
