Everyone starts the game with 3 cards. Then, the Old World card is revealed and decisions are made. Then, the draw phase happens; the rest of them draw 2 more (to 5), but Tzeentch can instead discard one first, then draws up to five.
So you were indeed supposed to have 3 cards at that moment. When I typed the "No", I was still thinking of you as Slaanesh.
You start with 3 at the beginning of the game, in the draw phase you can choose to discard one before drawing up to 5 cards. Everyone else starts with 3 as well but just draws 2 at the draw phase so you basically start with 5 the first turn.
What possible use could you have for these warpstone, dear Grandfather? I doubt you could corrupt it any more so. Just step aside and let me look after it, your various limbs are making it all filthy.
I had a game where I got to pick where the Meteor Showers went as Nurgle, and as such placed them on regions with Nobles on them. Slaanesh gave me the most dirty look and Khorne gave me a cheer.

I shall blitz a Bloodsworn to the Empire. Where he shall preach the glory of bloody death and ruin to the feeble peasants of that land!

I suppose feeding Khorne's slaughter of Slaanesh's followers was an option, but I prefer not to put all our eggs in one basket lest he unleash a battle cry that would cripple us all. The Empire, you say? I'll send a Leper to watch over my new prize in Kislev

Round 1 Summoning Phase
Warpstone Discovery
In the end phase when Old World cards are resolved, any player with at least one follower in any region containing at least one Warpstone token draws a Chaos card.
(FAQ: Max one card per player)
Khorne (6/7) starts his war with a bloodsworn in the Empire. Nurgle (5/6) follows the lure of power with a leper in Kislev. Tzeentch (4/6) contemplates and conjures up a horror in Kislev. Slaanesh (6/6) introduces himself with a Perverse Infiltration (place 1 corruption) in Bretonnia.
And here I was hoping that we could get along dear Khorne. There are so many unpleasant things that could happen to you if you were to start thrusting your ham fisted minions into my affairs. It saddens me to think that you would do this not to further your gains or to thwart my plans, but merely for "fun".
I simply present an alternative option. Nurgle is a happy lamb compared to what I have to offer.
Also, I think Estalia could use a loving spoonful. Please place 1 seductress there.
Edit: oops, 5/6 PP remaining I think.

Blood Frenzy - 0 - At the beginning of battle in this region, you roll two battle dice here and apply any resulting hits before regular battle dice are rolled.

Also: Bloodletter to Kislev. I was beginning to wonder if stalling and raising my ire was part of your plan dear Tzeentch. If so, I am afraid it has backfired.

There's a bit of commotion in Kislev, has Slaanesh called for another one of his festivals of perversion? I'd appreciate it if you two would find somewhere else to play; I have important things to do here.
Leper to Kislev (3/6 PP)

Khorne (4/7) calls a mighty bloodletter to the lands of Kislev.

Note: To help the other players, please post the full text (and cost, including (M) magic symbol, if appropriate) of all Chaos cards played.
To help yourself and me, please report your PP remaining with each play, even if it did not change.
Huh... I thought I was posting that in one of my games. Well, it's still useful.

I choose not to discard any of my lovely tricks.

Nurgle is up.
Who needs a manual? The Lords of Chaos should not be restrained by "can" and "can't".
If you have such wiles, employing them in a fashion meant to seduce may have appropriately chaotic results when directed at admanb. Or not.
You are making trouble.

Edit: Err, Leper rather. Got the names mixed up
Summon a horror to Kislev

I feel like Norman Osborn.
I wonder what the bloody-handed one sees in the Empire? Perhaps I should pop next door and find out.
I'll play Perverse Infiltration in the Bretonnia region, please.
Perverse Infiltration - 0 - When you play this card, place one corruption token in this region. This does not give you a dial advancement token.

Your feeble followers couldn't murder a halfling Tzeentch, trying to make nice with me will not save them.
Horrors are 1 attack, 2 defense yes?
Another Leper to Kislev

Yeah, 1/2
