Selling Damaged Mac

My sister is asking me to see if I can find a place where she can sell or trade away her damaged Mac laptop for a decent amount of money. It's a MacBook Pro (15-inch 2.4/2.2GHz) and the screen is cracked.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

    I've had good luck selling old mac laptops with defective parts on ebay - just give a complete rundown of the specs and what's wrong with it. There are a lot of people who fix them up or use them for parts - my last two sold for around $500 each.

    If there's a Mac Store in your area they give store credit for damaged laptops. I think you can get a value estimate via email.
