I actually agree with Gene's play, casting aside my personal bias. He forces Nurgle into a difficult decision to help himself or hurt Tzeentch. I would have done the same, in his shoes.
(M) The Persistence of Change - 1 - If you kill one or more figures in battle in this region this round, you may choose to not discard this card in the end phase, leaving it in place for next round.

Round 1 Battle Phase
Troll Country: 4 dice
Blood frenzy: 1 hit
scary blood demon: 2 hits
In retrospect it doesn't matter, but hey, 3 hits. I'll take 2 of Slaanesh's cultist and 1 of Nurgles.
A somewhat disappointing slaughter.

I kid. It actually has been a busy weekend. Corruption step will be up tomorrow.
Khorne gains one DIAL token.
Round 1 Corruption Phase
Domination Step
Troll Country: +1 VP
Tilea: +2 VP
The Border Princes: +1 VP
Corruption Step
Troll Country: +3 DIAL +4
Tilea: +2 DIAL
The Border Princes: +1
Although the colors ARE messed up in the corruption step.
Slaanesh should totally be a color though, good call.
1. Remove chaos cards -- all cards are removed.
2. Resolve hero tokens -- none.
3. Resolve Old World cards -- Tzeentch and Khorne each draw a card.
4. Score ruined regions -- none.
5. Advance threat dials --
Khorne:
6 - Score 4 VP
Tzeentch:
7 - Place 1 Warpstone
Nurgle:
8 - Score 3 VP
6. Check for game end -- nope.
Total VP:
Khorne: 0 + 4 = 4
Nurgle: 0 + 1 = 1
Tzeentch: 0 + 3 = 3
Slaanesh: 0 + 3 = 3
Things that need to happen:
1. Tzeentch places his warpstone.
2. I reveal the next Old World card.
3. Tzeentch chooses whether he'll discard.
Discard Warp Shield.
