Would anyone be interested in one day taking a break from the expo and taking a good walk (1.2 miles, a rougly 25 min walk one way) to Seattle international district to get some ramen at Samurai Noodle and go shopping for import manga (or other Japanese literature, magazines, children's books, cook books, general literature, DVDs and CDs, basically a Japanese Barnes and Nobles) titles at the Kinokuniya bookstore? Whatever day/time works best, we could maybe get a troupe together to head down that way? I took the trip down there on my own last year and I still had loads of time to enjoy PAX that day (left around 1pm, spent an hour and a half in the international district, headed back at and returned around 3:30pm), and it was nice to get a look around and explore Seattle on foot.
Totally pumped for PAX Prime 2010

Pink Gorilla actually has a booth set up at PAX in the expo hall (got a copy of Taiko no Tatsujin 1 and 2 for DS there last year, and TnT 3 DS came out this past July in Japan, hope they have that there too!) And yeah I'd love to see the toy shop, when would be a good day to meet for you?

Gonna play this by ear for now, but how does meeting 1pm on Saturday outside of Samurai Noodle sound for everyone (or if you prefer shopping first, 1pm at the Toy Store)? And if anyone wanted to enjoy the walk through downtown Seattle we'd meet outside of the convention center at 12:30pm. Just tossing the idea out there, seeing what works best for anyone who wants in.

There's a really cool Japanese toy shop (International Model Toys) and an import game store (Pink Gorilla) down there too.

And the bus between the convention center and the international district is free, too!
Yea, exactly. And it might rain on Saturday/Sunday.
