I think it's just extra-sad since we live together. Usually seeing one another involves one seeing the other when we're already asleep. Sometimes if I close the next morning I'll stay up to see him for an hour or so late at night. And then we might get one day a week off with one another.
Then again, at least he's here. He could be deployed and then I'd be so bored and it would be so weird having no one else in the house.
Man I would give cash money to be able to see my ladylove for an hour or so late at night.
paranoia sets in
he's using someone elses internet for his foruming

if you have a player who is so much better than your opponents that he get enough last hits to actually advance without getting ganked in a 1v2 lane then great, go ahead and choose that warwick
but otherwise it's generally kind of destructive
In lower level games, with new people... ehh... jungling can really hurt a team, but you have to learn how to deal with it at some point! And if that means taking a few losses along the way then so be it!
But here's some advice!
Really any player in a 2v1 lane can leverage that to their benefit, but the cost of making a mistake goes up exponentially as you have no partner to back you up. It comes down to a matter of strategy and not really caring too much that you're pushed back to your tower. During the laning phase the tower will generally keep you safe and nullify the benefit the 2 have against the one. This is why Rammus is an amazing person in a 2v1 lane. If you dive him he's going to taunt, defensive ball curl and let the tower do the work for him.
If you are Cho, you're going to be taking a lot of 2v1 lanes because he's right up there with morde as people I consider best in 2v1 lanes, though you may have to approach your cho'gath build from a different perspective. Range, zone control, and mana regen become important as you're going to be spammier than usual, using rupture to keep creep off your tower. Feral Scream is probably going to be deprioritized because it's very mana intensive and isn't really going to provide you the benefit of a higher level rupture or vorpal spikes.
yeah i generally buy up rupture and vorpal with a single point in scream and as many points in feast as i can
i guess the idea is that i can harrass a little actively with rupture and harrass a little passive (as well as farm a little) with vorpal.
i'm still trying to get used to playing him, and i'm not great. i generally don't buy a whole lot of mana regen on cho, which might be a mistake - i have kind of alternated trying to race for a rylais and race for a warmogs and race for a RoA.
i dunno. maybe i'm just not good enough to handle a 1v2 lane in general.

weird that this feeling comes after 3 hours of idly playing computer games
but
i have a girlfriend, i have an interview (for which i'm well prepared) for a good paying position, i have my h marathon coming up in 3 weeks where i'm confident i'll run a 1:35, and tumbles' vomiting has stopped, taking away my fear that i was gonna lose my live in girlfriend of 12 years
life is p good, as far as it can go while living at home and unemployed
Wait wait wait
what the fuck
I thought we were heterosexual life partners

No, in that fight I was up front trying to knock down their tris before she got away, then died under their tower.
It was a bad decision on my part and I shouldn't have snarked at you, I'm sorry.
it's okay. you're a better player at this game than i am. i'm still trying to learn how to do things the right way and your earnest advice is appreciated.
Now that was a fun game as Morde. Whole game I was being an asshole and basically playing offensive lineman as Morde. I was intercepting Nidalee's spears, being a brick wall to Rammus powerball and just being a brick wall for my team. It was glorious.

In this particular case you did the right thing and didn't commit to a bad fight, and I yelled at you for it.

Yeah. Women have the tendency to do shit like this. I do stuff right all the time but Brittany is constantly yelling at me and shit.
As a disclaimer, nearly all the bad shit I say about Brittany on these forums is jokingly.
One time I said something on vent joking about how she was giving me a death stare saying to stop playing LoL and come spend time with her. She told me that wasn't true.
So I figure I should at least let you know she's a very loving person and I'm lucky to have her.

Honestly, I think once you get the pacing of the game down you'll be fine. You have a good grasp on the basics already, now it's just implementing specifics. being in a 1v2 changes the way you approach a character, just like being in mid changes the way you approach a character.
If I know I'm 1v2 on Cho'Gath I build a doran's ring first. Hp and mana regen are perfect for what I know I'm going to be doing. Harass becomes almost irrelevant unless the enemy is completely suicidal. Your objectives are: first, to be safe, second, be in experience range, and third, to get last hits... exactly in that order. You want to make sure your jungler's routine isn't disrupted by having to cover your lane if you die and so that they're free to gank when they're ready.
Just be comfortable knowing that just by being alive and being in experience range you are winning. Don't worry about trying to disrupt your opponent's last hitting too much and don't be afraid to tower hug! The tower is your besty. Just try to not let it get too beat up.
The more you take 1v2 lanes the more comfortable you'll get and the more flexible you will become. For instance, if they're being super aggressive, maybe you decide to level up feral scream earlier than usual and neglect vorpal spikes in order to shut them down right after they initiate, giving you enough time to get back to the tower.

Ok, now you two kiss and make up.
This sounds familiar.
Where did you steal this from?
Black shield is broken
Root is good for keeping them off you, or keeping them from escaping tower range
Tormented soil is great for pushing creep off the tower, zone control and takes advantage of morganna's innate spell vamp!
Very very good!
Cho' is good in all these ways too basically, since he gets a big chunk of health whenever he kills a creep.

You would know this if you dated some dudes who didn't care about gaming.
