UT3 was okay for deathmatch but their onslaught variant was broken as fuck. It just seems they didnt try as hard with the game like they did with UT2k4 and just released UT3 as "good enough" for an engine demo.
The downside with flatout and split second is their low player counts which fucks up such a small LAN. Moreso if we are all playing together and someone ragequits and tries to bring people into an 8player max game.
Goal for this LAN is to get as many large games going as possible. Early morning or later at night will be the times for the low player count games.

AFK is pretty packed right now, about every table/booth is taken. There's a couple of open card tables though we can probably use for any games.
So, I'll be landing at SEATAC at 2:32 pm on Friday, Dec 3rd. I can public transit it all the way over, but is there any chance anyone is going to happen to be in that area or downtown (light rail station) around that time?

Hey, it's me, Teldra! Did someone say "greatsword"? [Eternity]
Last night went pretty well. We had a pretty good turn out from here. It was definitely a fun change from normal bar outings. One that could be good once in a while.
The main problem was that AFK serverly underestimated demand. There was no where near enough staff, liqour, or chairs. The first may be less necessary if the place is normally much less busy than it was last night. And the bartender said they are working on getting more liqour. And the chairs thing is something thats easy to fix. Really the last two though should have been worked out before they opened.
It may make a great week night place or just a good location for board games and rpgs for people who live in the Everett area.

You gotta keep in mind this was their beta opening. They're not open at normal hours yet, they're testing everything, so we can't expect everything to be smooth yet. Today they're only opening from 5pm - midnight and they're going to stay closed tomorrow. They did underestimate demand sure, but we just have to give them some time.

I know and that's why I didn't mind the lack of sevice as much. But not having chairs or booze? Those are things you are going to need at one point or another regardless.
I hope they get the kinks worked out and I hope they are successful. It's be neat to have a place like that in Seattle.

I heard they did much better tonight, they had double the staff and straightened out a lot of things.
I can't wait for the LAN Will be just after a major project deadline at work so it's great timing! Unfortunately between now and then I'm working weekends and late weekdays but meh, whatever.
It's okay. You are still cool. No voodoo dolls from me. Maybe I should start practice shooting some zombies so if I do go, I will be useful instead of just QQ'ing.
I'm totally achievement whoring that. Or at least all the ones that involve mocking and taking pictures of Oz winning. And then subsequently losing the fight with gravity.

We should definitely sit down and write up a list of achievements that equal out to 1000 PDS (Poor Decision Score)

We should go more vile and do some steel reserve or something
Oz drinks anything while hes drunk :P
My favorite LAN game is "How many 40's can Oz drink".
ALSO I WILL WIN.
Or is it lose?
BOTH.

maybe for you :P
we'll all be at the top of the hill enjoying the view.
Garnering Oz-based achievements.
We should have achievements for getting Oz to do shit while he's drunk.
We'll be re-naming it to Oz-Loko.
We also won't be giving him the drink in the can...we'll be adding shit to it, like MORE caffeine. Let's see if we can make Oz's heart explode.
I vote we also throw in some 151 too. ya know.. unless Oz is a pussy.
Which we know Oz surely isn't. He's a mans man that likes tits and bitches and being the Captain of his own spaceship.
Also: To those who were at the Halloween Party and aren't friends with me on Facebook ... which is probably like none of you, here's some photos: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2665690&id=5724132&l=3082f3eff0
I also noticed that Catboys coming which is awesome. Perhaps he can introduce Oz to his old friend Edward 40 hands.
