I watched the movie and had no idea if Ramona and Scott would be together by the end. I figured it was a given what with the plot being about them but there were moments when I honestly had no idea.
When I read the comics afterwards, I still didn't know if they'd end up together.

There's really no reason why they shouldn't have kept the Nega Scott quick glances in the main movie (as seen in the deleted scenes), wonder if the commentary talks about it.

He says they got bigger laughs with just the one appearance at the end.
I thought Commentary subtitle tracks are pretty common these days? Or maybe that's a BR thing only?
Maybe they are on Blu-Ray, but very rarely on most DVDs, at least the ones I've bought. TMNT was the only recent one. Actually the first one. First commentary track I've ever watched.

I haven't looked at the DVD yet since I've been watching the BR. And there's a whole crap load of extra content. I watched all of the deleted scenes and alternative edits they considered. And I agree with what y'all have been saying thus far about the reasons why they didn't pick them. Although, I had forgotten that Wright had started production without knowing the ending. But it's okay to me that the movie is similar but different to the comics. It's like an alternate universe or take on the same primary plot points.
But man, there is so much extra stuff to be seen in this. I haven't touched the commentary tracks yet, does this mean that I have to watch the movie each time with the commentary tracks on?
And also, I loved all the documentary about making the movie, I was wondering how they did the effects for
Roxie's fight with the Soul Calibur Ivy-esque whip.
And all the fight choreography stuff ws really sweet too!
Er, are we still spoilering things in the movie? I just figured I'd play it safe. Oh wait, hm, y'all are talking about the ending. OH WELL.
Every time I watch the Garbage Truck video I always get thrown off by the end. It's essentially what Scott Pilgrim would be like if there were no evil exes.

I saw the blooper reel and was surprised they only showed Brie Larsen falling down once during the concert, thought maybe they would have 5 or 6 of them since those shoes were probably a pain to walk in, no less act like you're performing a concert.
Finally saw the deleted scenes....so glad they didn't go with the original Knives ending. It felt so...empty. It's like Scott learned nothing at all. Blah.

Also, the Summertime video is awesome and should not have been cut out of the movie. >:(
I say that mainly because of all the Kim Pine closeups in it.
Did they film Knives + Kim makeout
DID THEY
That would have been even more awesome though.

Yeah it was supposed to play during the credits but Edgar Wright wanted the last scene with Ramona to be the last time you saw Scott.

It's not in HD, so I'd expect it also to be on the DVD.
I was at Wal-Mart just now and picked up one of the DVD cases to examine the features
All it said was blooper reels, some commentaries "and more"
The Blu-ray has a lot more just listed on the case
Missed moment of awesome
Don't see any music videos whatsoever. Ah well, you win some you lose some.

its the best hell ever
I was really surprised that they didn't leave in
That would have been so cool. Also, the alternate ending is OK, but I prefer the one they went with.

I love how Micheal Cera kind of dances around while he plays bass.
