Yeah, I live reasonably close to a few colleges (and the area is peppered with a ton of community colleges too), which is why I was hoping to find one in my area.
Back to the game though, does anybody have a link to a video of the combat system in action? I've read some odd descriptions of it.
Two in Minneapolis, one in St Paul actually. But I hate to burst your bubble on this one, it's not a "gamer bar". It's a restaurant/pub/bar that has a few NES/SNES/SEGA/ATARI consoles that you can pay-to-play. It also has free board games. But it's not what I imagine you must be thinking by any stretch of the word. It's a zany restaurant and bar with a touch of nostalgia (where I've seen mostly families). It's not a place where gamers go to hang out.
Also this game looks brilliant and I want it an Xenoblade right this moment.
P.S. The Chatterbox also has Karaoke. Bring a friend!
This game graphically, looks like a PS2 game, the settings are uninspired, the character designs are lame
otoh the combat looks fairly interesting albeit extremely slow
I'm not necessarily looking forward to it but i'll check reviews when it's out
You're blind Rent, there's no PS2 game that looks anywhere near as good as The Last Story does.
shadow of the colossus
You should probably play this game again. It looks awful and grainy, I'm sorry. It looked good when it came out, I'll give you that, but I tried playing it myself for the first time a few months ago... got the PS2 all hooked up to my nice shiny plasma with the component cables and could barely look at the screen for awhile. It was that same adjustment you have to make when you play an N64 game that you thought looked totally bitchin.

I guess you stopped reading, because if you look directly below the small listing I gave, I made note that not all of them are "gamer bars" and that they offer varied services.

Special Edition Spoilered for pretty big.
I totally forgot about Dave and Busters. I went to one in Florida and spent AN AWFUL LOT OF MONEY.
I'm gonna open a fucking Gamer Bar.
It's an action RPG

God can that Cavia dude draw some awesome generic JRPG heroes. I'm really digging that Wii Box.

ffxii
done
either way my central point is is that the setting of Last Story is dull mcgeneric fantasy, with every shade of brown
seriously what a snoozer of a world to fuck around in
This is a very good thing.
PSN: Dyvion -- Eternal: Dyvion+9393 -- Genshin Impact: Dyvion

i'm saying the Last Story looks awful. it's just dull and boring and grainy and brown as hell
And these guys were from October (I missed these I guess):
You have horrible taste, so you don't count. :P
just pointing that out
the irony is so bad i'm getting whiplash
even though you've played nier and all your opinions on final fantasy are still basically radioactive

Not to fret my friend, no bubbles busted here!
Telling the difference will be impossible.
This game looks good. Probably will be out in the US late next year.
Xenoblade is the one to really look for, that game is amazing.
Noooooo
I so want Xenoblade
Nintendo hear my cries
They hear your cries from atop their giant throne.
Then they spit on you.
Seriously, why are they always jailed at the same time and why do they always post in the same damn threads?
I suspect the same answer works for both questions.
then you must wonder why i argue with myself so much
ANYWAY
the screenshots for this game do look kind of underwhelming
hopefully it'll look a little better in action, wii or not
I just assume you're crazy and it's this funny little quirk that we all just kind of watch.
But yes, I'm thinking this game will look a lot better in action too. I'm just hoping that the battle system isn't slow as molasses.
Were just that balla 8-)
Umm...you do know that Xenoblade is still on the release calander, right???
As what, TBA 2015?
