the vast majority of the episodes I'd seen were under the (I am guessing) careful supervision of a friend of mine, and based on everyone's reactions here I have deduced that they were probably cherry-picked
I saw most of both SAC and 2nd Gig, and I don't recall the Major making the offer to sleep with a child
