Too many funny ones to list here, but here's some of my faves:
Thwomp - my undead mage
BuddyChryst - my main, a human priest. (I stand around doing the /yes emote all the time)
WorgenFleaman - a fellow guildie
GnomeReagan - My friend's Gnome. (I can't tell you how many times I've mis-pronounced "gnomergan" as "Gnome-Reagan")
However, my favorite "name" ever doesn't even come from a game. It was my friend's IM name for years: ExplodedGrandma
Undead holy/shadow priest: Guessillheal, so named because 5 years ago i made an undead rogue and my guild wouldn't take me on any dungeon runs at all whatsoever because there were a million and a half undead rogues out there. So made a priest... guess i'll heal.
Tauren Shaman Vegetarion
Made a lock and DK and named em after characters from two different series of books. DK: Mahrkaghir and Lock : Algaliarept. Listening to people try to pronounce them in vent is priceless.
Way back in vanilla I had a warlock main and because there were so many raiders in our guild each class had a class lead. The warlock class lead was a super sweet young lady from australia. I learned tons from her and when she left for an australian guild I missed her terribly.

Her character's name was Violentaidz.
My brother-in-law had a DK named Aidsbringer. He was forced to rename it.

I have a DK bank alt named Bankofdeath, I feel it's pretty fitting as it sums up the generally level of badness most names have, but still giving people hope that maybe its a bank alt or maybe its a serious name and my guy is really a banker of death, specialising in no-deposit loans.... of pain

I think I mentioned this in the beasts guild chat a while ago. But my Warlock's Felguard is named Blacvegan.
I was in a pug in City of Heroes way back when with a super-strength/invulnerability tank called Gnome Mercy. The player had set all of the sliders to the smallest settings possible and used costumed pieces that made his character look like a lawn gnome. I couldn't stop laughing seeing this tiny tank punch out giant robots and werewolves.
CoH is also home to endless attempts to recreate Wolverine by naming the character xxxxWolverinexxxx. 5 minutes later they all get genericed.

Has anyone ever done "Balverine", Fable style?
Probably. I've seen a million variations of Wolverine. It's kind of sad, really. And it makes no sense to copy an existing character, from a gameplay point of view. Wolverine is an utter badass, but your level 2 Wolverine clone can get his ass kicked by a level 4 street thug. Kind of kills the immersion, I'd think.

I love name generators in-game because of the lore-appropraite names the produce.
In RIFT for an example I got myself a Elf called Saelan and a big burly Defiant called Bahmi.

Rift wanted me to name my high elf (or whatever the race is) "Keeeer."

is this like, a WoW exclusive club or something?
I named my pet Dire Wolf Straits. . . so he's The Dire Straits! get it?
Mercy, I'll beat that name when I roll a new character tonight, I won't say what I'm doing in case someone beats me to the punch, but I'm hoping it will be cool.
Named my rogue in Rift: Bobomb. Obvious Mario reference for when I go Saboteur (which uses bombs and explosives, and even has a high level self detonate spell), but also a less obvious Scott Pilgrim reference for when I go Bard

Shortfused the dwarf warrior
Gate the DK blood tank.
Shortfused gets kudos when I do randoms quite a bit for his name.
*edit* Apparently "Negrow" can be taken as a racist thing.. the PC strike again!

I also started a Tauren Warrior named Hornbroke. He has a broken horn. I plan to use the goblin tabard to get the trike.
