I also picked up the FireBreather Vol. 1 trade and it was a great read. Thanks for the recommendation, Munch! I'll have to pick up the next two volumes.
    :^:

Glad you liked it. I think things really pick up in the second book. Be sure to also grab the Firebreather: The Iron Saint one-shot, if you can locate it. It's a good, self-contained little story.

Juggernaut doesn't win because he's the villain and therefore has to lose

No Juggernaught is awesome and he should win

Anyway he's not even a villain any more

    He's reforming (allegedly)

He's been "reforming" since the early 2000's. No one is ever going to go anywhere with that arc.

    Hopefully he will this time

I like Juggy more as a reformed sort of hero than as a villain

Volume 1 contains The Iron Saint too, so Bonus!

Are they still publishing new FireBreather issues?

Ahh, I had the old version of the first TPB. That's cool.

And yeah, Firebreather: Holmgang is still going on, but I think it's been a few months since the first issue came out.

Pay no attention to this man!

    Alternate Response:

She does have a emblem, it just so happens to be an emblem of a cleavage window.

Parker: The Outfit was the big indie-winner of the week though. I know it's old news by now, but damn Darwyn Cooke can tell a great story. My only real issue with it was that it seemed to fly by. Probably because I'd already read the teaser comic IDW released a few months back.

Oh my goodness yes. I read both Parker books a couple of weeks ago. "Read" in this case means "devoured; picked up and did not put down until they were done". The whole time I was thinking "hot-damn, can Darwyn Cooke tell a story visually".

That was also the week I read Jeff Smith's "Shazam!: The Monster Society of Evil" and the latest trade of Hickman's Fantastic Four. That was a good week.
