Regarding 3-day pass and re-admittance

This may be a silly question, but I can't find the answer anywhere (can't use search either) and one of my party members is concerned about it.
Is re-admittance into the expo center allowed with 3-day passes? I can leave after the show has kicked off and get back in again right? I have members of my party that are arriving later in the day, and I will need to meet them to give them their passes. One of them is under the impression that once we leave the hall, we can't get back in that day. Help me out here guys.
That doesn't make a ton of sense to me, but this is my first pax and I'd like to be certain before something stupid happens and ruins the day for us. Thanks guys.
