Is what Tycho's sporting going to be the style in fifteen or twenty years? I don't...I don't even know what to call that style other than "someone added a beard and mustache to a photo with a sharpie" style.
And I was wondering if they were forward-looking and filmed the prequel trilogy with 3D cameras just in case 3D technology became better post-1997, but then I remembered they filmed the whole thing against a bluescreen so the 3D conversion should be trivial.

I gotta side with Gabe on this one. I love Star Wars. My mom took me to see episode 6 when it originally released to theatres and I was only an infant. I grew up watching episode 4 on an old VHS that I'm sure my dad copied from the video rental place. I saw episodes 4-6 when they re-released them to the theatres in the 90s. I bought the widescreen VHS set. I saw episodes 1-3 during the midnight showings. I bought episode 1 on VHS and I have a piece of film that was included with it. I rebought episode 1 and then bought episodes 2 and 3 on DVD, and rebought episodes 4-6 on DVD.
I'm done.
I'm not buying the re-re-released original Star Wars movies on DVD. I'm not buying them on Bluray. I'm not going to go to the theatre to watch them in 3D.

I have purchased Star Wars twice - Original trilogy on VHS, and the 6-pack with the un-fucked theater versions.
I have Empire on DVD.
I don't really like the others that much. The upcoming BluRay release is annoying.
a: It's too expensive. And they know it and don't care.
b: I just want the original theatrical releases, touched up and remastered with none of that special edition bullshit CGI tacked on. That's all. I don't want anything else and they seem to make it so hard to acquire just that.

But why would a corpse have a beard and mustache?
I won't be making that edit.

Don't think I've seen gabe do that too often.
And didn't the real cat die a while ago, or get put up for adoption, or something?
Also, did they ever release the prequel trilogy on laserdisc and Betamax? Just for goofy times?

I don't really know if Rex Ready is considered a classic yet. I think he should be.

Not spending another penny on Star Wars.
Except maybe the occasional Lego set.
